Stewardship
A Way of Life
This Week’s Readings
This weekend after celebrating the independence of our country, we will do well to echo the Psalmist, saying, “Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, pleading for his mercy.” May we always recognize and use wisely the gifts of freedom and abundance He has showered upon us.
In Living Stewardship
We are grateful this week for all stewards in our parish who embrace the call of good citizenship by sharing their gifts at home, work, school, parish, community and world.

During the
Summer Months
Because of the vacation schedules of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Communion under both species is suspended during the summer months. For those who have gluten intolerance, a chalice with the Precious Blood will be ministered at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday evening. This will go through the summer. Please also know that low-gluten hosts are also available at all Masses. One should stop in the sacristy before Mass to arrange for this type of host to be consecrated.

Put your envelopes on a permanent summer vacation and set up an eGiving account with Faith Direct today. eGiving is especially important in the summer months, when many families may be out of town some weekends and our parish does not receive their envelopes. It’s easy for people to forget to catch up once they’re back, and our weekly offertory can fluctuate as a result--making it harder to predict how much we will have to sustain our year-round ministries. The more families who welcome the beginning of summer by participating in Faith Direct, the more consistent and predictable our offertory will be month after month, and this will help us do even more to spread Christ’s love throughout the community. Visit www.faithdirect.net and use our church code: NY239. Thank you for your continued support of our parish family with your time and talents as well as treasure!
God Bless You,
Fr. Bill
