Dear Friends, after two unforgettable editions in Belgrade, the “Big Circus” of Champions Bank will move to Koper/Portorose.
Slovenia, a true “ Green Sports Country” with extraordinary results in lots of sports, even more exceptional compared to the number of inhabitants.
The Istrian region, a territory characterized by mountains, sea, vineyards, fishermen’s villages, rocky coasts and saltpans of rare beauty.
Portorose with its modern hotels and the various clubs and shops located along the famous promenade will be the HQ of the event.
The new stadium in Koper, in perfect “British style”, with its Bonifika sports complex, which usually hosts national teams and professional clubs, will be the venue of the football championship. Two towns, Koper and Portorose, which are internationally renowned for their services and sports facilities.
This year, once again, we have tried to give you the best.

Koper is a town that can be simply defined as sportsmen’s paradise.
The new stadium of Koper opened in 2012 with the match Slovenia vs Scotland is among the top football facilities in the Country with its “British style” and the pitch just a few metres away from the stands.
As well as the stadium, also Bonifika sports complex nearby is simply awesome. Football fields in natural and artificial grass, an indoor sports ground that has hosted the European basketball championship recently, tennis courts and a green area that is bigger than the town itself.
The quality, variety and richness of the sports facilities is remarkable.
Koper is situated just a few miles from Trieste and an hour’s drive from the capital city Ljubljana.

Kevin Calciu is a two-year-old child, whose parents were Ciprian and Mariana, who were killed in the terrorist attacks at “La Belle Equipe” in Paris on November 13th.
Kevin has been left alone with Tania, his twelve-year-old sister.
Friends and colleagues have launched a campaign to help them grow up well as their parents would have liked them to.
Through Champions Bank 2016 we have decided to help them, reacting to violence with solidarity and generosity.
In one of the coldest November nights this year, a fire started in an apartment near Koper, in the home of 33-year-old single mother Aleksandra Drljača and her daughter Lana.
Overnight they were left literally with nothing.
Little Lana attends first year junior school, where they immediately helped by purchasing school supplies together with the other parents. Champions Bank 2016 will help Lana return to normal schooling, and, above all, will help restore hope for her carefree childhood.
