ACCOMMODATIONAll grades of Queens Grill and Princess Grill Suites are receiving a complete make-over during the 2016 remastering to offer unsurpassed levels of comfort and elegance. The finest suites at sea will be reconfigured and will benefit from brand new seating, lighting, soft furnishings and upgraded technology.

In addition to the Grill Suites, Britannia Staterooms will also see a change:

• 30 brand new Britannia Club Balcony Staterooms on Deck 13 • New decor for all current Britannia Club Balcony Staterooms • 15 brand new Single Staterooms, nine on Deck 2 and six on Deck 3L • All Britannia Staterooms will be refurbished over 2016-2017

The accommodation for our four-legged friends is also being extended during the 2016 refit to introduce 10 new kennels, allowing more cats and dogs to travel with their owners on Transatlantic Crossings. The Owners’ lounge area will also be enhanced, creating a new inside play area, increasing the outside walking area and extending the services offered.

DINING• The Queens Grill and Princess Grill will benefit from elegant new decor

that incorporates dramatic new window dressings, decorative lighting and feature wine cabinets – while the reconfiguration of both restaurants offers more sought-after tables for two.

• The Britannia Club restaurant is also being refreshed and extended, promising an intimate dining experience.

• The Carinthia Lounge (the current Winter Garden) will offer a stylish space for casual relaxation. During the day it will serve as a tranquil retreat offering light breakfast and lunchtime options, speciality coffees and teas and a patisserie counter. It will also host Cunard’s traditional Champagne Afternoon Tea. In the evening, the Lounge becomes an informally sophisticated ‘supper club’ space – specialising in premium wines, small plate dining and relaxed entertainment.

• The Verandah (the current Todd English restaurant), already popular on Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria, makes its debut on board Queen Mary 2 in 2016 offering a contemporary, premium French menu featuring delicious seasonal fare.

• Kings Court will also be reconfigured to offer a totally redesigned central service area giving our talented chefs the opportunity to showcase their culinary expertise, from a hot and cold buffet throughout the day to specialty stations offering Italian, Indian, Pan Asian, Tex Mex and American Smokehouse menus on a rotating basis in the evenings.

Queens Grill

Between 27th May and 21st June 2016 Queen Mary 2 will undergo a multimillion pound refurbishment that introduces enhanced interior designs and passenger experiences across the ship. It will usher in a new era of style for Cunard’s iconic flagship; one that ensures she remains at the forefront of luxury.
