notice and assigning any reasons thereof.

4. The candidate appointed to the service shall be on probation for a period of two years from the

date of their joining in the grade/service.

5. The candidate shall be liable to pass the prescribed Departmental and Professional Examination

during the period of probation.

6. The inter se seniority of the Assistant Executive Engineers shall be determined in order of

merit as assigned to them in O.P.S.C. merit list.

7. The appointees should join in o/o the Engineer-in-Chief, Water Resources, Secha Sadan,

Odisha, Bhubaneswar immediately failing which their offer for appointment shall stand

cancelled.

8. The appointments are subject to their being medically found fit by the Medical Board and

verification of their character and antecedents in terms of G.A. Department Resolution

No. 34438, dated the 20th November 1999. In case, any adverse report is received, the services

of the candidates concerned shall be terminated forthwith in accordance with the provisions

laid down in sub-clause (ii) of Clause (h) of Explanation under Rule-13 of the Odisha Civil

Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1962.




9. No T.A/D.A. is allowed to the appointees to join in their place of posting.

10. She/he should swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and give a declaration to the

effect that he / she is not prosecuting studies in any institution at the time of joining.

Rules, 2004 the words “Judge-in-charge of the District” whereveroccurs shall be substituted by the words “Administrative Judge ofthe assigned District”.

Owing to rise in cost of labour and materials, therates of the Odisha Gazette have been revised witheffect from the 1st January 1994 as follows :—

The subscribers will receive the Odisha Gazette alongwith the Extraordinary issues of the Odisha Gazettepublished from time to time in a year against their annualsubscription. No subscription for any particular part ofthe Odisha Gazette/Extraordinary issue of the OdishaGazette exclusively will be entertained.

(A) The revised annual subscription of the entireOdisha Gazette (all parts) including Extraordinary issuesof the Odisha Gazette has been fixed at Rs. 1,456.00without postage and Rs. 2,122.00 from the 1st June2002 with postage.

(B) The revised rates per issue of all the parts of theOdisha Gazette is fixed at Rs. 28.00. The OdishaGazette will not be available for sale partwise.

(C) The cost of the Extraordinary issues of theOdisha Gazette has been revised to Rs. 2.60 withoutpostage per page and the postal charges will be addedaccording to the weight, if ordered for by post.
