Kids will be meeting at the church to bake goodies for a bake sale. Each child is to bring one packaged bake good to make (brownie mix, cookie mix, cake mix etc.). All baked goods will be sold October 27th Sunday morning before and after both services. All proceeds go to the Capital Fund Campaign.

First Fruits Offering

On Sunday, October 20th we are going to take a special offering for the capital campaign. We are asking that you consider giving as much of your pledge as possible up front, in faith, believing God to supply the rest of your pledge over the next three years. If you are unable to give in this "First Fruits" up front offering, that is totally fine. Just give as God enables you over the three-year period.

Join the adult Sunday school class at 9:30am in the green room. Scott Haas will be leading us in a new study on I Peter. Come join us as we connect with one another through prayer and biblical learning. All adults are welcome!

Review

Saturday October 19th from 10-12 am there will be a concurrent math and English ACT review available in the Youth Center. Students will only be able to attend one of the sessions. Please mark your blue card or call the church office for more information.

Trunk or Treat

Saturday, Oct 26th, 4-6pm at the Kmart parking lot. Last year’s Trunk or Treat had record attendance and we anticipate an even larger crowd. Please start bringing candy and placing it in the “Food for the Needy” box the west lobby. Also, trunks are needed for this event. Cars/Trucks/Vans make the path for kids to walk through to receive candy. We need 40 trunks this year to pass out candy. Sign up on your blue cards to participate. Also, ask your dental practice if they would like to donate toothbrushes and toothpaste to be given away at this event.

No “dark” or scary costumes, please. (witches, devils, ghosts or monsters).

October 12 - Apple Butter Making All ladies and men are invited to make Apple Butter with the CWC ladies at the home of Sandy Adkins (169 Rocky Step) on Saturday, October 12th from 8 am to around 3 pm. If you have household items, sporting equipment, collectibles, jewelry, toys, or furniture to donate, please price your items and drop them off at 149 Beechwood Estates. Turn in to Beechwood and bear left once inside. We are the fourth house on the left. Pick up arrangements can be made on a limited basis. The last sale made approximately $1,700.00! Caregiver’s Support Group

Oct 15th, we will be meet every 3rd Tuesday of each

month at 7pm to support one another and share

information. Anyone who is a caregiver for a special

needs child or adult, elderly or ill person is welcome to
