Did people in the U.S. like the immigrants?

No!!!!They feared that we were going to get all the

bad and uneducated people from the other countries.

They also didn’t want people with different religions and cultures coming here.

Where else did they come from?Most of the immigrants from Europe came to

the east coast of the U.S. (New York City, Ellis Island)

On the West Coast, Many people from China and Japan came to California.- They really didn’t like these immigrants

Because they A) Had strange culturesB) Looked different

They were taking many of the jobs here in the U.S.

They were willing to work the “Dangerous” jobs for little money.
