PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Don Roberts
President
(541) 472-9692
Aloha, we are back from Maui----had a great time. It never
gets old. Not sure I could live there year round...but, I
could try.
I urge you all to peruse the newsletter for upcoming events.
Spring always brings more activity and more events on the
calendar, this year is no exception. There are plenty of op-
portunities to socialize and join in the fun. Isn’t that the
reason you belong to WWN? So, when you get to this
month’s general meeting make sure you are prepared to sign
up for upcoming events. You will not regret it.
Ginger Sackett is working on filling out the roster of com-
mittee chairs and officers for 2017-18. If you have a partic-
ular area you think you would like to try be sure and talk to
her or to those involved this year. And, if Ginger approach-
es you about taking on a position please give it serious con-
sideration. WWN is only as strong as the degree of partici-
pation the members show.
WWN LUNCHEON INFORMATION
Program is at 11 AM , Luncheon follows. Come early to reserve your seat, socialize, and sign up for activities.
Lunch entree is $13, Salad Bar only $9. Program only (with or without beverage) is $2.00.
You will need to reserve a seat by Noon on the Sunday before the luncheon. Purchase your luncheon ticket at the meeting with cash or check then
give it to the ticket takers at the time of the lunch. If you are a “no show”, you will be billed as we have to give an accurate count to the Wild River Pub
Restaurant. Emergencies are an exception. If you have to cancel, please give Jiggy a call as soon as possible at 541.955.1794.

VICE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
By the time you read this, I hope Spring has sprung. This
has been the longest winter I can remember, but seeing your
smiling faces at our meetings brings sunshine into my heart!
Now, if that is corny enough for you, I will proceed to in-
form you of our speaker for the March 28th WWN meeting.
The speaker will be Jill Hamm a very interesting lady as she
has her finger in a lot of pies around our town. She is the
general manager of the Fruitdale Grange as well as managing
our two local radio stations for our congressman, Carl Wil-
son. She is going to let us know how granges got their be-
ginning in farming communities.
If you come to our March meeting you will leave with a head
full of knowledge and a tummy full of good food, plus the
opportunity to socialize with members of our gregarious
group.
See you soon.
Pat Randall
Vice President
(541) 582-1956
REMINDER: please wear your badge when you check in
at the General Meeting and at all Club activities.
