The new Walter online catalogue makes finding products and additional information even easier

Users can find product data, models, downloads and much more.

Walter AG presents its new online catalogue. In it, the manufacturer of precision tools offers

its customers information on diameter, length, price product availability, and more. At the

same time, Walter has significantly simplified the process of finding products by offering

three ways of searching:

1. Using the same structure as the Walter printed catalogue.

2. Using adaptable filter functions, and

3. Using a full-text search.

Every search option has been optimised or supplemented with new functions. For example,

when searching via the product hierarchy, the user looks for the required solution using the

already familiar structure of the printed Walter catalogue. The filter search continuously

adapts the number of filters to the search context. In the full-text search, users will be able

to find the required products using terms such as "shoulder milling cutter" or product family

codes like "F4047".

The Walter online catalogue has also been optimised for mobile devices. In addition to

product information, users receive a variety of additional information such as characteristics

in accordance with DIN 4000, 2D drawings or 3D STEP models for their own CAD/CAM

simulations. They also receive information on indexable inserts compatible with the tool

body, technical information, as well as spare parts and accessories. Users can view

additional content on the Walter website and, if required, complete an order via the Walter

TOOLSHOP. Walter describes the "To the tool application" function as a powerful feature that

provides users with application-specific cutting data for the selected tool by linking directly

to the Walter GPS "machining navigation system".
