By connecting university faculty and students with industry leaders to generate and share ideas
By highlighting the importance of nature and the value of design

This project provides an opportunity for: Children to present their natural surroundings’ using a medium of their choice Children begin to develop an
appreciation for nature at an early age
To engage and disseminate information to the adults in

Tapping into the creative talent that surges through CUNY, a visual arts competition:
Allows students to reacquaint themselves with the nature of New York
Capture the wonder and beauty that lies in the environment of New York City through the eyes of a CUNY student
Visual Arts Competition – Fauna in Focus
This competition seeks to allow students to express their thoughts and feelings on the nature of New York and what is being done to restore it.
