Damy was in her classroom, typing on a computer when all of a sudden a big burst of smoke swamped the classroom and pulled Damy into a big fluffy gray cloud.

Then in the midst came a body that stole her spirit away. She screamed but it was too late; Daniel had already made her into a ghost.

Suddenly, the door crashed open. Trudy called, "School's starting, Damy!" But there was no response.

Trudy was in her classroom reading a book on science, thinking about what had happened to her friend Damy. Soon it was time to go home.

When Trudy got home, she told her parents about what had happened the day before.

"Well, if you want to know, our family has powers that you may use," said her father.

"We'll give you this stone, which will give you all the powers you want. You must keep it with you at all times," her mother added.

Her mother gives her the gem. The gem was magenta, with many teal blue buttons on it. Trudy said "thank you" and runs off to school to investigate.

At school, she went over to where Damy had first disappeared and finds a message.

The message said, "You may not find my secret hideout. Instead, I will tell you I have taken all the students in the school except you who are reading this right now."

Trudy looks up from the note and realizes there was a fake wall. She goes through the wall with her power from the gem and finds the girls trapped, their spirits in a bowl full of water and steam.

She scoops the spirits up from the water and releases them. They returned to their bodies, except one.

At this point Daniel comes in, but he cannot see Trudy because she was still invisible. He finds the spirits all gone, and says, "I am free at last!"

It turns out that an evil spirit had possessed Daniel. It did not have a body to return to and so dissipated.

Daniel leaves and goes back to his family. Trudy returns home and all is back to normal at last.
