Why use “The Mueller Method”

•  In the US, Iatrogenic disorders are the #1 cause of death! (Null, et. al 2011)

•  Drugs (i.e. manmade substances) produce more powerful diseases than natural ones

•  “But artificial pathogenic forces we call drugs are quite a different matter. Every drug can at all times and in all cases affect every living being and bring about tis’ specific effects in him, even clearly perceptible ones if the dose is large enough. It follow that every living organisms can at all times and without exception be affected – as it were, infected – by a drug disorder. AS I have said, this is not at all the case with natural diseases”

Hahnemann had the following to say about allopathic drugs and their devastating effects on the patient’s health:

When You Don’t Remove the Cause… •  Thirty something yr old woman, eczema over entire body • Worse from heat •  Flaking and itching of skin • Scratching until it bleeds •  It’s a Sulphur case, right??

• Obstacle to cure = sulphur in well water! • Remove the cause, then antidote and treat for it!

•  In this case, Sulphur was the antidote (tautopathic) and the treatment

Sustaining Cause: MERCURY • Pains and restlessness in the legs beginning after

sundown and lasting until dawn

C.S.F. Hahnemann From Lesser Writings

“Not long ago, doctors tried to remove these h u r t f u l s u b s t a n c e s [ c o m m e r c i a l a n d pharmaceutical poisons producing injuries and diseases], often with very unhappy results, by emetics, diluent drinks or purgatives. They operated under the erroneous assumption that these drugs oppressed the stomach and bowels in a primary mechanical fashion. In reality, they change the whole system in a peculiar, to us still unknown manner. Their effects can never be cured like mere local mechanical irritations, as was formerly imagined. However, we now know how to combat many of these drug-induced disorders. The secondary action of poisonous drugs brings about diseases of a dynamic nature. This class of disease must be counteracted by their appropriate dynamic antidotes.”

On Drug Induced Disease 1.  Secondary effects of drugs/toxins cause a derangement

To sum it up… To antidote PRIMARY EFFECTS of drugs/poisons:

a.  Physiological antidotes or b.  Potentized homeopathic antidotes

To antidote the secondary effects of drug/poisons, we use:

a.  Pharmacode or potency of the poison or b.  Potentized homeopathic antidote

How Iatrogenic Disease Develops •  Dolly is a 55 yo female, who has hot flashes. Her OB-GYN

prescribes Premarin (estrogen)

•  The next year, she develops hypertension. Her general practitioner prescribes Atenolol.

•  Six months later, an arrhythmia develops and a cardiologist prescribes Cardizem for her new heart condition.

•  Within 8 months, she becomes clinically depressed and can hardly make it through the day. A psychiatrist prescribes Zoloft for her psychiatric problem

•  When the panic attacks begin 4 weeks later, The shrink adds Paxil to the list

Proceed by reversing her multiple drug disorders! • Start with the removal of the most recent drug, Paxil. Give

Paxil 30C

• Proceed in this fashion until all current medications have been removed and cleared

• At same time, begin Natrum muriaticum 1Q each AM

On Centesimal Potencies •  Centesimal potencies are limited in their effects

•  Anything above 30C is harmful

•  Repetition of the Cs will aggravate sooner or later

•  Quick acting, short lasting ideal for acute tx

•  Dry doses should not be repeated

•  When plussed in water, you can repeat with caution, but there could always be aggravations

On Q Potencies - quinquagentamillesimal •  Commonly called LM – a misnomer. LM means “950” ; Q

means 50,000

•  Hahnemann called them “ideal potencies”

•  Can be repeated as needed

•  Can easily alternate more than one remedy in Q-potency during same day

•  Use in water, succuss 2-5x, give up to 10 doses or for 10 days, whichever comes first

•  Can go up in potency indefinitely

Notes on Dose •  To address each person’s sensitivity

the solution is to adjust the dose! • Hahnemann mentions the dose in Aphorism 270

• Dosing: From Strongest to Weakest Dose 1.  Drop dose – either in the mouth or on the skin (haptic) 2.  Olfactory dose (sniff dose) 3.  Dosage cups (serial dilution taken then olfactory)

Tool #6: Alternating Remedies

On the Alternation of Remedies… • Have you seen patients with four or more

chronic disorders that are unrelated?

• Do you ask them to choose which is most annoying to treat first?

• Why not address them ALL at the same time!

• Choose remedies that cover the totality of ALL their symptoms!

Why Not Alternate Remedies?!

• Cover all their disorders at the same time

• Accelerate the healing process and improve on patient satisfaction

• You will mostly use polycrests!

Polypharmacy v. Alternation of Remedies

The alternation of remedies is NOT polypharmacy, as polypharmacy is the mixing of multiple substances or remedies into one concoction. Allopathic medicine still makes use of this practice! Hahnemann made use of alternation of remedies when 2 natural disorders coexisted in patient simultaneously

Tool #7: Treating the Cancer Diathesis

To Treat the Cancer Diathesis If constitutional treatment addresses disorders and susceptibilities that are inherited… then it becomes clear that we first must remove the acquired and iatrogenic disorders first. Also, constitutional treatment should be continued even after health is returned for preventive purposes by continuing to use the same remedies in ascending Q-potencies

Cancer Diathesis: Opposing Symptoms

• Hypersensitivity . Lack of sensitivity

• Prone to infections . Rarely gets sick

• Adventurous eater . picky eater, eats a few foods

• Promiscuity . Aversion to sex, or to the opposite sex

• Extroverted personality Introverted personality

• Early development, onset of puberty lack

development, i.e. adult with childlike emotions

•  Love of animals fear of animals

Removing the Cancer Diathesis

• Carcinosinum, daily doses of ascending Q-potencies (1Q, 2Q, 3Q, etc)

• Use in alternation with other indicated remedies, as needed, also in ascending Q-potencies

• Wait to add Carcinosinum until extensive clearing for suppressions has been done first

•  Takes years of Carcinosinum to truly remove this disposition
