    The recipes for MEMBER LOYALTY

A very big THANK YOU to the tech support staff [Joey LaPrada and Nate Johnson, Club Maint Eng II] who set up a television in Constantino's lounge and routed the internet transmission from my laptop to the TV for the Ladies' Book Club. Audio/Visual technical interfaces can be daunting, but the Desert Mountain staff resolved the audio issues and we were able to broadcast a YOUTUBE video for the Ladies' Book Club. That broadcast was a highlight of the book review, so thank you again. - Deborah Barnett

On numerous occasions, upon completing our workout, we have elected to partake in a late lunch at the Sonoran Clubhouse Grill. We usually order one of the salads, modified to make it Paleo. The cooks do a splendid job in meeting our expectations. Sergio Ordaz [CG Cook III] has done an outstanding job in adding some unique creative touches in the preparation of dressings. His creativity, coupled with his desire to meet and exceed customer expectations, is noteworthy and reflects favorably on him as a valued member of the culinary staff. -Bob Morgan

As I do the lunges I twist to the opposite side...always trying to make my golf swing stronger!” Giovanna Santoro, CHIR Server “Take a brisk walk first thing in the morning or the last thing at night.” -When holiday shopping, park at the back of the parking lot and walk. -While watching TV, do 10 sit-ups or push-ups during commercial breaks. -Not a gym member? Week 6 Points Cards due to HR by

    Wed, Dec 12!

Desert Mountain competed with 28 other employers throughout the Valley in the Try 1 in 5 Rideshare Week Employer Challenge. Employers encouraged their employees to carpool, vanpool, ride transit, bike, walk or telework at least one day out of five to show that even a small but consistent effort can make a big difference. Winning companies were selected based on having the highest percentage of participation out of a total number of employees. In the medium employer category, with 501-1,000 employees, DESERT MOUNTAIN CLUB beat out companies like JW Marriott Camelback Inn and Arizona Biltmore by saving 52,784 drive-alone miles with 23.6% employee participation! For more information on our Carpool and Vanpool programs, call Miguel Moreno in HR at 480.595.4056 or stop by the HR office.
