Words From the Chair

Happy New Year. Here we are, a brand new year. I hope you all had a great holiday. Now we get down to the sreal work of Lions, mak-ing this year even better than the last.

Most of our clubs are deep into planning great events for the spring. Spanapark are planning their yearly Bowling Classic, al-ways a great success. Eatonville will have their Casino night. Oth-er clubs are planning Easter events. A big event this spring is the day at the races. Held at May at Emerald Downs.

Don’t forget the Zone meeting on Feb 7th, 9 a.m. Breakfast will be served. We will elect our new Zone chair. Melvin Jones will be given. Also we will have a speaker.

A bit of good news. Mt. Rainier is now up to 12 members, the task force is backing away to give them to grow on their own. But we will be there to assist if needed. A great thanks to those who worked so hard to make this happen.

See you all at the zone meetingDonna Bowers, Zone Chair.

Just a few reminder for the zone meeting on Sunday.

Keep your clubs short. Only need to tell about events this winter. Turn a complete report to me. We will be voting on our new zone chair for the coming year.

Please remember that the club dues are due, both LCI and MD 19 by the end of February

Please invite all your members to come, I'll try to keep it short as possi-ble.
