The KSQCA has appointed TÜV
Rheinland for the Pre-Import Inspection,
Testing and Certification Program of
goods entering the Kurdistan Region,
Republic of Iraq. Only an appointed
accreditation body is allowed to issue
the Certificate of Conformity (CoC), a
basic requirement for exports to the
Republic of Iraq – Kurdistan Region.
General Labelling Requirements for ProductsThe following markings shall be at
least in Arabic (whenever required by
applicable standard):

and equipment or similar:

Arabic or English (when required by

I. Request for VerificationThe importer / exporter sends a request for verification to
TÜV Rheinland which should include:

• TÜV Rheinland Application for Kurdistan
• Pro Forma Invoice / Final Invoice
• Test report for concerned products
II. Verification ProcessDocuments are reviewed for completeness to provide the CoC. In case any document is missing, our team will inform you
timely to ensure a fast issuance of your CoC. If testing is required, TÜV Rheinland offers an independent third party testing
for its clients.
III. Physical InspectionA physical inspection of the cargo is conducted at a location of your convenience to verify the shipment against the
documents.
IV. Certificate of ConformityAfter a successful review of the documents and inspection, TÜV Rheinland will issue the Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
