About the UNC One Card

4

The One Card is a multipurpose card, serving as the University’s student identifcation card while providing access to events, buildings, products and services. With the One Card, students can get tickets or free admission to athletic and other events; use the campus transportation system and recreation center; check out resources from University libraries; and get healthcare services from Campus Health Services. With a Carolina Convenience Account, it can also be used as a cash card to purchase meals, snacks, books and school supplies. All on-campus laundry facilities and most vending machines accept the One Card.

How to get your One Card As an incoming student attending orientation, you will have your photo taken and then receive your One Card. You must present a picture ID (valid driver’s license, state ID card, military ID or passport). You can upload your picture online at csgold.onecard.unc.edu. Students unable to attend orientation can obtain a card upon arrival at the One Card offce. For more information and photo upload requirements, please visit us at onecard.unc.edu/get-my-card.

4. CARRY-FORWARD BALANCE, INACTIVE ACCOUNT CHARGES, AND NO INTEREST EARNED ON ACCOUNT The Carolina Convenience Account carries forward on a monthly basis. There is a 25¢ service fee for each full calendar month in which there is no activity on an account, as long as the account balance is greater than zero. If the balance is less than 25¢, but greater than zero, the charge for that month will be the balance amount.
