KC BMW Club Member Photos!
Thank You KC BMW Club Members for another great year!!
BimmerLife coming in 2020!
Several delegates from the 68 chapters recently attended BMW Chapter Congress in Dallas on the first weekend of November. Multiple items were discussed, including the National Board vote to withdraw the requirement for printed chapter newsletters. This has been a growing trend to move to digital, our chapter voted to move digital in 2011. To clear the air on some questions you may have, here is what to expect in 2020:
• Chapters are no longer required to produce a printed copy of a newsletter. You will no longer be receiving printed copies of Milepost. It is advised that you update your email address in your BMW CCA account through bmwcca.org now.
• Chapters can continue to produce a digital newsletter if they so choose to do so.
• Chapters will be required to submit content for BimmerLife, a regional newsletter that will be produced as a lifestyles magazine format with rich photography, high-quality paperstock, and will feature local stories direct from the chapters who furnish the material.
• BimmerLife magazine will have the chapter’s
officer information, location, annual events, and 300-word profile with three high quality photos per chapter in the region.
BimmerLife magazine will be positive, high-end content reflecting the BMW product. Think of an airline magazine you may have browsed on a flight: stories about locations, rich colorful photos, ads for luxury goods, and travel experiences. Imagine that format – only with BMW. Your Adventures. Your Story. That’s BimmerLife.
