FROM LAKAN…
I arrived Manila Feb 29 safely. Praise God! My 25 days spent in the US was a package of God’s blissful experience. My gratitude to you for having me come. I was deeply encouraged by your love for the Lord and for us. Your continuing partnership and friendship with us are priceless treasures. You made me feel very much at home by your warm hospi-
tality and generosity. Continued on page 2
Thank You So Much! This is a note of thanks from Marissa Eugenio I received recently:
Dear Pastor Lakan and Kim and the Brothers and Sisters at College Hills,
From Lakan...
Our Preteen Students are having a fundraising Garage Sale to help them raise funds for their Summer Retreat! If you have items you would like to donate for the sale, please bring them by the church. If you need help getting them here, please contact Philip Cross at the church office.
This trip served as a vacation for me as well. It gave me precious time to rest, relax and reflect. Moments such this comes very rare in my almost 26 years in the ministry! I had real fun playing for the first time – wii game, air hockey and Mexican domino. Witnessed what superbowl is. And yes to experience snow for the first time and do sled-ding! Seeing historical spots and appreciating nature in the countryside gave me great serenity.
Playing and sleeping beside pets brought me back to my childhood days. Eating variants of food from Asian, Ameri-can and Mexican were fun experiences. Above all, yours and the fellowship of the brethren in various settings warmed my heart so much. And having the opportu-nity to spend time with my relatives and encour-age them in the faith is a real bonus in the Lord..

We need YOUR help in our
college ministries.
The Lord took care of the field and office opera-tions while I was away. I am thankful to God for entrusting us with com-mitted mission workers and supportive board members. And sending us with friends and part-ners like you who are faithfully journeying with us in all these years. THANK YOU SO MUCH and God richly bless you, your family and church in His manifold ways.
Love and prayers, Marissa

$11000.00 Given to Date: $6780.00
On the last Sunday of each month we receive the Lord’s sup-per. On that Sunday we will also ask for donations to our Agape Ministries. These ministries give us the opportunity to help those in need.
With your help, we can provide food boxes as well as supply-ing needed clothing, and help in other areas.
Please bring canned and/or nonperishable items with you as you come to worship with us Sunday, March 25th. There will be a box in the foyer where you may place your items.
You may also give a special offering to these ministries by placing it in the offering plate marked Agape.
Of course you are welcome to bring canned goods/non-perishables by the church office anytime!
“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:17-18
