Necton is a desirable village close to Swaffham, with amenities including a local shop, post office, butchers, hairdressers, two GPs’ surgeries, public house, Costa, Co-op supermarket, a petrol station at the top of the village, and a primary school. “The shops and facilities in the village are so convenient and have always served us well, and if we need anything else it’s a quick trip to Swaffham for the Waitrose supermarket,” the owners said. “Also in the village there’s a very good primary school, pub, as well as the playing fields and a children’s play area.”

OUTSIDE

The property is conveniently located for Norwich, King’s Lynn and Swaffham via the A47, with a regular bus service every half hour to Norwich and Kings Lynn from the main road. There is also a bus service that passes through the village between Dereham and Watton.

Dereham (8 miles) and Swaffham (5 miles). A traditional village

with church, primary school, post office and The Windmill public

house and restaurant. Necton is also close to a good range of

From here you also have easy access to the North Norfolk coast

with its stunning beaches and nature walks.

Swaffham is a rural mid-Norfolk village, 16 miles from King’s

Lynn and 14 miles from Downham Market. Swaffham has a

good range of local facilities and amenities including a Waitrose

supermarket. The market town of Dereham has an excellent

range of supermarkets including a Tesco’s, schools and other

shopping facilities and a new leisure centre with swimming pool,

tennis courts and other facilities. The Cathedral City of Norwich

(24 miles) can be found to the east which has all the amenities

associated with a county capital including a main line rail link and

an International Airport.

Once in the village of Necton, from the A47 continue along

Tuns Road turning left into School Road. Bells Meadow has a

small walled entrance and the property is found on the right
