what the duck?Born in 2009 The Duck has grown in strength, height and colour each year!

Why? Ask any newcomer or visitor how easy it is to find out about community events and they may look a little lost - until they find a Duck! Ask a local what time the drop-in basketball is, or details about the bird walk on Lorimer road... and well, you can see how a duck was born.

Get noticed Duck’s are often misunderstood and this one is no different. So read on. Pick up a copy, find out why it has managed to keep flapping it’s wings so long and slowly you will begin to see why so many people are starting to advertise in The Lost Duck. We aim to get you noticed and find you new customers everyday.

Happy Flight. TLD.x.

WHISTlEr VIllAGEAvailable at Village Hosts kiosks and in shops staff love our guide. They help direct people on what to do, and what’s happening by using The Duck. It makes their life easier and they read it too! What better reccommendation than from a local?

rESOrT CABSWho better to ask about a favourite pub, a local restaurant or what’s happening in the village tonight than the local taxi driver? Now passengers also have an up to date guide on hand to answer all those tricky questions.

BrOCHurE rACKSWe use big stands, small stands and hand-stands to make sure people notice the publication. Find them where you find lots of people, at visitor information, the cinema, select shops and grocery stores. We have brand new stands for this winter.

TestimonialsThe staff really like it and it has been a very good tool......good job, thank-you. Guest Services Manager, Westin Resort and Spa.

We add The Lost Duck to all of our guest check in packs and guests love it – it’s current, colorful, easy to navigate and packs in a lot of info, plus you can easily stash it in your pocket or bag for easy reference. We will now be sending out a link to our guests prior to their arrival so that they can check it out before hand and perhaps plan part of their vacation by using it. Our staff love it because it stays current and we can always reference it for ourselves if we need to. We’ve decided to use it for weekly events, exercise programs and yoga classes and give it to our guests at check in. Front Desk Manager, Superior Properties.

We all thought the Lost Duck was a great quick reference guide on what to do and where to go.....it was more convenient to give (The Lost Duck) instaed of a big newspaper. Guest Services Supervisor, Whiski Jack Resorts

The Lost Duck has been very well received by our guests....locals think it’s a great idea, especially those with children. Guest Services Supervisor, Whistler Blackcomb.
