the lost art of conversation
DESCRIPTION
I believe with all of the new technology and social networking websites, people are losing their ability to properly converse with others in social settings. Many people are forgetting how fundamental it is to know how to interact with others in a face-to-face context. The reason why this is happening is because lots of people (myself included) tend to be easily engulfed by technological advances in communication, taking advantage of systems of communication, i.e. texting, e-mailing, etc. I made this presentation for my [ Film 260 - Digital Media Studies ] class to remind people the importance of personal relationships and to try cut down on the texting and other forms of online communication, and take a step towards seeing people to maintain healthy relationships Thanks for your time!TRANSCRIPT
