VISIT BY FWWBI PERSONNELS
Mahatma Gandhi has rightly said that Thesoul of India lives in its villages. Withimproving our villages, we can improve thewhole country of course. But unfortunately
our villages and its rural lives are utterlyneglected, which needs a through strategyfor desired improvement. In our bids to copythe western culture, we are blindly andrapidly adopting urbanization. As our allattentions are being focused in groomingurban development, so there is hardly anytime being left for caring our countryside.
As a result of it the villages are being pushedfurther & further from our focal point. Nodevelopmental scheme initiated by thegovernment ever reaches there. Schemes forrural development starts from thegovernment files and they are never able tocome out of it. Obviously trapped in thesystem of red tapeism, its benefits never
percolate to the people at grass root level, who are eagerly waiting for it. In these fivedecades of post independent era, many agovernment have come to power but noneof them have ever thought to reach out toour rural lives. Commitments are madeduring election campaigns to improve the
conditions of our villages by removingbottlenecks, but soon after victory in theelection they are forgotten as some baddreams. God knows when His angels wouldcome to the rescue of our hapless villages.
