Isaac is promised (Genesis 17)

• God covenants with Abraham concerning his seed (Genesis 12:7)

• Abraham and Sarah wait 25 years for the promised seed

• Conception immediately follows institution of the rite of circumcision (Acts 7:8)

• Abraham is 100 years old and Sarah is 90 years old when Isaac is born (Genesis 21)
