The level Floralarrangeur includes: workpieces, which are necessary for the common practice on a higher
technical and creative degree of difficulty, are instructed on a high level. constitutive creative, technical and commercial skills in various sections
which are essential for practical work.
This Module is concluded with an examination, which is structured similarly to that of the German training as a florist. Single workpieces are examined in a complex-exercise-examination which lasts two days. The respective examinations are controlled by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) of North Westphalia, branch Gelsenkirchen. The examination comity include professional members of the floristry branch chosen by the IHK. These members are business-people, school-teachers or florists. Participants who successfully complete this Module will receive a certificate with the title “Floralarrangeur ” from the Federal Association of German Florists (FDF) as well as a certificate from the chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) of North Rhine Westphalia.
The course could therefore be structured as follows: Course in partner country 40 days
8 blocks à 5 days Course in Germany 21 days
= final training unit
At least 21 days of the course have to take place in Germany. Usually it will be the final training unit. If prefered the stay in Germany can be structured in another way.
