Welcome to the first edition of GemLife Lennox Head’s newsletter! This monthly publication will keep you up to date with all the latest and greatest news taking place at our premium coastal resort.

In all GemLife resorts, we have an outstanding community spirit that flourishes even before residents have moved in. We hold regular get-togethers, cocktail evenings, morning teas and even excursions where you can meet and greet your neighbours, share stories and have any of your GemLife questions answered by our invaluable team.

Having been open less than a month, the response has been utterly overwhelming with deposits already having been taken and interest climbing further still. The resort location is truly second to none and we are greatly looking forward to sharing it with our residents and interested parties.

Welcome to GemLife Lennox Head! This stunning location is everything you could want in a home. Whether you prefer country life or lounging on the beach, GemLife Lennox Head offers the best of both worlds nestled between the two.

Sherry and I can’t wait to meet everyone and discuss their plans for the upcoming construction. Do watch this space, as we regularly announce events and get-togethers within this newsletter and on our social media.

Our master plans have evolved beautifully over the years, with all of our resorts having been shaped by inspirations from residents’ suggestions– even down to the foliage and landscaping!

It is with great pleasure, that we announce the opening of our exquisite seaside resort – GemLife Lennox Head. Every month, this newsletter will be able to provide you with a fantastic summary of everything going on at the resort in terms of construction, events and facilities along with exclusive offers and competitions!

In this issue, we’ll be providing a brief insight into the neighbouring area surrounding the resort, a calendar of fantastic local events, and highlighting some of our more coveted facilities and features.

Interest in GemLife Lennox Head has already brought a flood of people into our resort with many people already making deposits. Kathy and Jeff Smith (pictured left) hail from Suffolk Park (Byron Bay). After looking around the area at several different options, the couple decided that they wanted to stay close to their home town of 50 years. With a love of fishing and caravanning, GemLife Lennox Head was the perfect place to settle.

Our facilities have evolved over time, with our experience allowing us to take note of exactly what our residents come to expect from a luxury resort. The highlight of our resorts is of course, the country club. This building houses everything you could possibly want – just metres from your doorstep.

We offer a fully licensed bar and coffee lounge – perfect for getting together with friends and family over a delicious meal and drink. If you prefer something a little more active, we offer a bowling green, tennis court, ten-pin bowling alley and even virtual golf – all of which are fully covered and lit – so can be used rain or shine, night and day!

The power is yoursIf you’ve been keeping an eye on the news lately, you’d have been shocked to find out that Australians are paying the highest electricity prices in the world – not a very nice title to have. As it stands, Australians are currently paying two to three times more than US citizens for power. Fortunately, or unfortunately – depending on the way you look at it – New South Wales are paying the third most expensive power bills out of all six states. Energy chiefs have been summoned to Canberra to explain themselves – with meetings resulting in alleged promises to change their ways.

The shift from fossil fuels towards renewable energy has been received positively in Australia with more people turning to solar power to subsidise the exorbitant bills. Here at GemLife, we have also followed suit.

In light of the news, GemLife has made the decision to upgrade our resort’s homes from a 2kw solar PV system to a 3kw system as standard. In addition to solar, we have also upgraded the hot water systems to a more efficient heat pump.

Decisions like these can have a huge effect on energy saving, which is better for the environment – and your pockets. With all our homes using solar energy, any additional power sourced from the grid, is purchased at a bulk price – again saving you money.

We know that for those living on a fixed income – as the majority of our residents are – it is of vital importance to limit bills as much as possible. We have always been mindful of the locations in which our resorts reside. We live in a stunning, natural

paradise with a lot of sunshine – so the decision to harness that was very simple.
