The Last Verse of the Bible

Revelation 22:21

Introductory Thoughts

Revelation was written to Christians in the Roman province of Asia to give them hope and

courage in the face of persecution

It dramatically tells the story of the triumph of good over evil

The final statement to these suffering saints

The end of the story is their victory through the grace of Jesus Christ

Introductory Thoughts

Genesis 1:1 tells us that we are made by God

Genesis 3 tells us how man separated himself from God

Revelation 22:21 tells us of God’s grace through Jesus Christ

The ultimate solution to our sin problemRomans 7:24-8:1

Neither truth, without the other, will help for us

God’s Grace Supplies the Triumph Over Sin Through Jesus Christ

The Bible begins with God and ends with Jesus

The God of our creation is also the God of our salvation – Hebrews 2:10

Some believe in God but do not believe in Jesus ChristSome would like to have salvation in God without

Jesus Christ Some would accept the grace of God if they could have

it without Jesus Christ

Outside of Christ, there is no salvation – Acts 4:12

The Victory of God in Christ is Ultimately the Victory of Grace

Grace is the last word, the end of the story of salvation

Without denying that God’s grace is conditional, we need to emphasize God’s grace in the scheme of redemption

Ephesians 2:8

The Victory of God in Christ is Ultimately the Victory of Grace

The gospel which saves us is a gospel of grace

The gospel of the grace of GodActs 20:24

The true grace of God in which you stand1 Peter 5:12

God’s intention toward those who place their faith in Him is benevolent

The Victory of God in Christ is Ultimately the Victory of Grace

To be a Christian is to experience the good things that come from God’s grace

Hebrews 4:16

1 Peter 2:2-3

Closing Admonitions

Revelation 1:8

We also need to be able to say Amen as John does

By saying Amen we are saying we will obey all of God’s word, not just the parts we feel are relevant

We need to develop the attitude of Samuel

“Speak, Lord, for your servant hears”

Have you appropriated God’s Grace?
