When you reach The Firefly Rendezvous point, you find that the man was bit by a zombie, and has turned. Tess also is very tense, and tells you then that she was bitten. You are shocked, but you have no choice. Time is running out.

What do you do? Put Tess down Take her with you, and risk getting bitten

You leave the quest, and are later arrested by the soldiers for being smugglers.

Start over?

You put Tess down. It makes you feel bad, because you have known Tess for a while, but you quickly think of what could have happened if she stayed, and turned. She might've bitten you and Ellie. You still regret it, but she wouldnt have ever tried to hurt you.Continue
