THE LARUN PROJECT IS STARTING: THE STATE IS PREPARING THE PUBLIC TENDER FOR THE SALE OF THE LAND TO THE GOLF RESORT PROJECT

Playboy bunnies, the Wahlburger's fast-food and the golfers are coming to Tar We have the license for the first exclusive Playboy club in Europe, and we cooperate with the American actor Mark Wahlberg, who will open one of his fast-food restaurants – the Wahlburger’s, in our resort, says the investor representative Miro Vukušić. The project is important for our municipality as well as for the Istrian County, likewise for the entire country, says the mayor of Tar-Vabriga Nivio Stojnić BY Dubravko GRAKALIĆ TAR - The Ministry of State Property announced one of the most important steps to start the construction of the Larun golf resort project in the Tar-Vabriga municipality. After years of hesitation, a tender for the sale of State owned land needed for the golf resort will be launched, so that investors can begin with the works. "There is ongoing preparation of a public tender for the establishment of the right to build and sell real estate in the scope of the Larun resort golf project," claimed the Ministry of State Property at the request of the ‘’Glas Istre’’ newspaper. Great cooperation - In cooperation with the municipality, we have made an urban plan and an environmental impact study. We have obtained a valid location permit and now we have to buy part of the State land and to get the concession, which cannot be given without a public tender. We are now the owners of the entire private land needed for the resort, so now we have to purchase the State land. We also have a location permit, and the Municipality will soon apply for a building permit. We plan to begin construction next spring, explains Miroslav Vukušić from Histria Fecunda, who has been developing the project for years. The mayor of the municipality of Tar-Vabriga Nivio Stojnić says the project is of great importance to the municipality. "We have done as much as we could on our side and it is of greatest importance to the municipality of Tar-Vabriga. The project is important for the Istrian County, as well as for the whole country, says Stojnić. - The development of the project was not easy - twelve years have passed since. But we have had the support of the Ministry of Tourism, of the State Office for Real Property Management and other institutions. We have a great collaboration with the municipality of Tar-Vabriga throughout all these years, confirms Miro Vukušić and adds: "The operator of the golf course will be an American-Chinese company, we have the license for the first exclusive Playboy club in Europe, and we cooperate with the American actor Mark Wahlberg, who will open one of his fast-food restaurants – the Wahlburger’s, in our resort." - A team of professionals cares about the Larun project and we all contributed to the future success of the project, which will employ at least three hundred people. In addition, a small number of private companies, businesses and public companies will

prosper. The opening of the resort is planned in late 2020 or early 2021, says Vukušić. Academy, hotel, villas It is widely known to the public that the project of Larun golf resort in the municipality of Tar-Vabriga covers 128 hectares of land for sports and recreation, which is still in the possession of the municipality, the private or the Republic of Croatia. On the north side, the area of the resort is limited in the Santa Marina bay, and from the south are the Červar Porat and Porto Vecchio bays. The eastern border of the resort is the county road Poreč - Novigrad. It is planned to build an 18 holes golf course, a club house and two practice ranges. There are also golf academies, hotels and villas for guest accommodation. For the playground and practice ranges, 93 hectares of terrain are provided, and the hotel has a capacity of up to 1,200 beds of 16.2 hectares, while 16 and a half hectares are surrounded by olive groves and protected archaeological finds from the Roman times. Aleksandra Anić Vučinić from the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering in Zagreb, who realized the professional study of the golf course Larun, during the process of presenting the resort to the public explained that "the goal is to build a sport-tourist destination of the highest category, harmoniously incorporated into the environment with maximum use of renewable energy ". The golf resort will spend for its needs 1,913 cubic meters of water per day, or 55,000 monthly in the summer months for irrigation of green areas, 456 for sanitary needs of accommodation facilities and 864 for fire protection. During the summer it is planned to use purified water from accumulation lakes. '' The project will employ at least three hundred people. In addition, a small number of private companies, businesses and public companies will prosper. The opening of the resort is planned in late 2020 or early 2021. '' Miro Vukušić
