The Korean Tiger must be saved before it goes extinct.

Supporting Ideas

1. The Korean tiger holds an important place in Korea’s cultural history and folklore (stories).

2. Despite occasional claims of tiger sightings in the wild, no documented sightings have been made in several decades.

3. As Korea becomes more urban, there will be nowhere for the tiger to live freely. Wildlife preserves need to be set up.

Conclusion / Call to Action

The tiger has long been a symbol of Korea’s culture. Because of changes in Korea over the past century, the Korean tiger may be gone for good. We should encourage our government to build a wildlife preserve, import tigers from Siberia or North Korea, and reintroduce this precious creature to the nation.
