United by their love of music, over 350 elementary through high school students from southeast Michigan come together each week to fulfill their desire to deepen their musical experience.

Through our four-tiered orchestra program, we teach, guide, and foster musical growth in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Dear IA Music Family,

As fall draws to a close and winter settles in, this is always a good time to look toward goals for the next year. Winter for IA music is not dark and gloomy—there are plenty of exciting events on the calendar to stave off the seasonal blues.

We will host our annual “family dinner”—the music banquet. Your fami-ly is invited to celebrate our students and hear some fantastic music at a lovely dinner. Look for your sign-up on page 16 of the program.

Festivals and Solo and Ensemble are coming up too. The students will compete as individuals, small groups and full ensembles with other schools in the area. Festival is an interesting and exciting day to watch. Parents are welcome to attend and support the students too.

As you know, none of this happens without parent support at home and at the events. As you plan your year-end giving, and this winter's sched-ule, please keep IACCMB in mind. We would love to have you join us.
