All  about  IFRS  What is IFRS? ACCA stands for International Financial Reporting Standards. Over 113 countries require or permit the use of IFRS for publicly-traded companies. All public companies listed on NASDAQ Dubai, Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange are required to publish IFRS financial statements.

What is IFRS Certification?

According to ACCA, the IFRS Certification “offers a broad introduction to the field, and aims to help you understand how they are used globally. The course and assessment are separate so if you are already applying IFRS at work and want formal recognition of your skills, you can apply to take the online assessment only. But if you just want extra knowledge in the field you can choose to take the course only, or you can complete both.”

What is IFRS Qualification?

According to ACCA, the IFRS Qualification is “for finance professionals who need to acquire a more detailed understanding of IFRS. The IFRS Qualification is a fast and efficient solution that will develop your current knowledge in this field. a. IFRS Certification Exam Registration  

Students of the IFRS Certification take online exams. An online exam can be taken from anywhere around the world. Lynchpin Training helps its students register for the online examination. There are no fixed dates for registering for or taking the exam.  

IFRS Qualification Exam Registration

Paper based exams are held for in Dubai and Abu Dhabi twice a year – in June and December. Registration deadlines for these exams are October 8 and April 8 respectively.  

Eligibility  

The minimum qualification required by ACCA from test takers is a bachelors degree.

About Lynchpin Training

Lynchpin Training was founded in 2009 as a preparation center for professional qualifications including IFRS. Its head office was established in Knowledge Village, Dubai. Since its inception, Lynchpin Training’s excellence in training and customer service has helped it grow multiple folds.

March and May 2012 witnessed the inauguration of Lynchpin Training’s second and third branches in DIFC (Dubai) and Abu Dhabi respectively. In April 2013, another branch on Dubai-Sharjah road was opened.

Progress Reports

All along the IFRS journey, students are evaluated by their trainers. The results of class tests and mock exams are uploaded on the LMS (Learning Management System). Thus, students can track their performance and take measures for improvement accordingly. Trainers also make sure they interact with the students after classes to discuss students’ progress and other issues they may need help with.

Exam Registration Assistance

Once students are through with their exam preparation at Lynchpin Training, they guided as to when and how they should register for the exams they wish to take.
