T. Rex collagen found in the bone

in the 1916-Hell Creek Formation.�In 1995, Professor Mark Armitage discovered collagen filaments intact in the bone fragments of a T. Rex. The inside of the bone was scanned by an electron microscope. The presence of collagen would suggest that this supposedly 65 million year old fossil they examined was not completely fossilized yet. Armitage states, “It can’t be but a few thousand years old.”

�They believe that Ice Ages are cycled

regularly at intervals every 100,000 years for

�The last episode, the Late Wisconsin Glacial

Period was the greatest of all covering a 1/3

It has erased the fossil evidence of the
