The FreeScience Workshop aims to provide equitable access to science -something all people deserve. Coalition for Health School Food Naomi Sommers | [email protected] We need one or two volunteers at Northeast Elementary School toassist me giving a presentation about a Cool School Food recipe.This is a plant-based recipe which is served at all ICSD schools.We give a slideshow and have a discussion about the culture orcountry from which the dish comes, present raw ingredients fromthe dish on tables, which students can touch smell and identify,and then we have a taste-testing of the meal, prepared by theschool's kitchen! There are many work supports, like the EarnedIncome Tax Credit, that help working families afford their basicneeds that are only accessible if you file a proper tax return.  Given the complexities, it is nearly impossible for anyone to file aproper tax return without extensive computer skills or by paying adisproportionately high fee to professional preparers. Alternativesrecruits and trains community volunteers to help our clientsprepare proper tax returns. Volunteers are needed to expand theprogram and to replace retiring volunteers. The tax season runs from mid-January through April 15, 2020. Hoursare Tuesday: 10:00am to 1:00pm; Tuesday, Wednesday andThursday: 3:00pm-8:00pm (broken up into an afternoon andevening shift), and Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
