The SlowCooker and The HotBox. A research based investigation into food deliveries/takeaways with a focus on branding and identity. To build a brand and identity for the Slow Cooker- a food delivery ser- vice based in leeds. Adam Hollinsworth is setting up a food delivery business. The food he is serving is going to be cooked and produced by a slow cooker hence the name ‘the slow cooker’. This is a start up business so he has given us full control of the design strategy. We have sat down with him and agreed on a set few things that need to be included. Branding and identity, packaging for product,range , promotion, distribution. Because Adam was so indecisive myslef and James could only make so much progress with The Slow Cooker/ The Hot Box logo development. Adam kept making unexpected changes and as a result we could not make as much progress on the brief as possible.Adam kept bringing us new ideas and kept changing his mind about important things. For instance like the name or the equipment he was cooking with. So eventually we had to draw a line under the brief and move onto other projects.

As a result of this we could only make so much progression with the Slow cooker/ The Hot Box brief and have only reached the branding and identity stage.

It is a live brief and our deadline for Adam is in the new year so we will continue to develope on our existing ideas.
