WHAT WILL BE COVERED IN THE COURSE:

Module 1

Your management role and your relationship to other managers

Supervisors are first line of management. They play an important role in the effectiveness and efficiency of any business. This module will help you understand your management responsibility and tasks. It will also help you understand your relationship with other managers. You will further get guidance on how to interact effectively with other managers and build networks.

Module 2 Manage yourselfYou cannot manage others if you don’t manage yourself effectively. This module will help you develop skills in prioritising and managing your own time and work as well as that of your team, to ensure that you and your team achieve the results expected. The better you can prioritise and manage time and tasks, the more successful you will become.

Module 3 Induct new team members

You are only as successful as your team. Employee training is very important for any company, and effective induction for new employees should be a priority. Induction training helps new employees settle quickly, and gives them a sense of belonging, which contributes to their motivation.

The Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act requires that injuries and diseases be handled, recorded and reported. This module will help you understand your responsibilities.

Module 12 Care for customers Without customers, no business can be sustainable. In this module you will learn how to ensure that your team cares for customers.
