THE HADRIAN’S WALL
In 1 AC Romans had some problems: their territory was very big so they had to defender it.
The answer was to build a big wall so the others couldn't attack them.
THE HADRIAN’S WALL
The imperator Adrian decided to built a big wall that separated Romans and the Picts’ territory. (The Picts were the people who lived in Scotland)
Then Romans build the biggest wall in that time
THE IDEA OF CONSTRUCTION THE WALL Before doing the wall there were some forts
in the frontier . But their weren’t enough so they decided
that they had to do something. In Germany the walls construction worked
very well so they decided build the wall.
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE WALL The wall was started in 120 A.D. and took nine
years to build. All the building was built by Romans soldiers.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE WALL?
When the years passed the Picts destroyed the wall 3 times but every time it was rebuilded by Romans.
When Romans retired and went to the South the Picts destroyed a part of the wall after that, the wall was destroyed for the people who wanted to go from one side to the other.
WAS THAT THE ONLY ONE No, some years late the Romans had
conquered more territory so then they build another wall.
The Antonie wall was more to the North but it wasn’t too big
CONCLUSIONS
We really think that wall was very important in that moment because was very large and big.
We are so happy to do this work because have been easy look for information.
