GUADALQUIVIRThe Guadalquivir bench is conceived as a river, curving gently in a continuous line to allow people to sit on either side. This bench is produced in three formats: one straight, for continuous linear benches, and two others with a radius of 7 and 35 metres for con-tinuous curved sets. All three models can also be installed as 2 metre long individual benches.

GUADALQUIVIROrigin
The Gualdaquivir and the Triana modular benches have been desig-ned for Escofet by Diana Balmori to be installed in the urbanised area of Sevilla Tower on La Cartuja Island, Sevilla.
Modular
Different aggregations to the Gual-daquivir modular bench system permit the creation of straight or undulated continuous backless ben-ches. It can also be used to form a boundary between areas and areas frequented by pedestrians.
Material
The domed section modules are ma-nufactured in molded concrete with a etched and waterproof finish and Escofet’s standard colors chart.
Installation
These benches simply rest on the ground, anchored. Each unit weighs 1600kg.
GUADALQUIVIR
The central aim of the Torre Sevilla landscaping design is to create a cool, shady path accompanied by the sound and vapour of water, with variations in the intensity of the light and shadows. This project is in the southern part of Cartuja Island. It consists of a central square and two terraces on business podiums. The square is defined by the podiums that run north-south, which concentrate
pedestrian movements and shelter the plaza from the sun. The street furniture edited by Escofet for this project includes H-shaped pavers in four colours -two shades of yellow sand and two of rust- Triana garden benches, Guadalquivir benches and Socrates cubic seats in the public space, and twelve Mirador benches on the lookout level.
