What tumultuous times! While the masses are still suffering from the varied physical, financial, and mental anguish of COVID-19, society has been further destabilized with rioting in the streets! Peacefully protesting a man’s cruel death is surely understandable, but how tragic that an element should insert themselves with looting, burning, and violence!

This is indeed seriously troubling, yet society has been destabilizing before all of these current events. Starting with the family several decades back, Satan has been working to steal, kill, and destroy ( John 10:10). Since he has been striking his blows at the foundation of the family unit, the world has been staggering like a drunken man. A flood of evil has been loosed, such as could not have been imagined even twenty years prior.

The nations are in chaos. “Scientists” have evolutionized God out of existence, for He neither fits their hypothesis nor their ungodly aims. Humanism feigns to sit upon a throne, and now everyone is suffering–with morality, common sense and the Bible being its most notable victims.

When secular humanism replaces God in society, it is as a raving maniac at the steering wheel. And this maniac is intent on driving the peoples of the earth through chaos on its way to destruction over an abysmal cliff. A return to God is man’s only hope!

We are living near the end of time, according to Bible prophecy. Satan is working furiously to corrupt minds and hearts, for he knows his time is short (Rev. 12:12). He purposes to crush and silence God’s church by any and all means, including the same venues of mass media and technology used by billions upon this earth. With these venues now being consolidated into the hands of an elite rich minority, Satan’s aims are more easily accomplished. We are not just dealing with flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), for behind all of the mind-shaping by mass media conglomerates and the rapidly increasing censorship by Big Tech companies, an intense spiritual warfare is raging–and it is for the souls of men!

Reader! Can you discern the truth from a lie; right fom wrong; the righteous from the wicked? I hope you truly know God, for it will take His power in the soul to overcome in these last, evil days.

A Divine Healing TouchPraise the Lord! I would like to share with you an experience I had

recently. I had been struggling with an issue in my body for a while that continued to worsen. One night I had an attack, and it wouldn’t subside like it had done in previous times. It grew more and more intense. The pain got really bad, and I had great difficulty breathing. A sister that was with me wrote apostle Benion and asked him to pray. Shortly after, the pain began to lessen, and by morning it was completely gone! I haven’t had any pain since. We Prayed and God Answered!I have been saved for a little over 30 years and have never found God to

be a disappointment. Many times I’ve proved His promises to be true. He has never failed me and has been my strength, comfort, and guide through some very hard times.

I want to give Him praise and glory for one of those times. I’ve known for over 20 years that I had high blood pressure. When I first found it out, it was pretty high, but I was able to get it down and keep it fairly under control. But as years passed, it steadily got higher in spite of me doing all I could to help. There were times that, for no apparent reason, it would shoot up dangerously high and a prayer request would be sent out. Then the Lord would bring it down. But it only stayed down for a day or so before rising again and would eventually spike dangerously high again with another prayer request and the Lord lowering it again.

Shortly after the last spike, I was thinking how the Lord brings it down and I believe the Lord gave me the thought to ask a few saints to pray that He would bring my pressure down to a reasonable range and establish it there. I asked five or six saints to pray that way and, glory to God, He has done that for me! It’s been two months or more and I’ve had good pressure and a very reasonable range ever since! The Lord has been SO good to me and I thank Him every day for the wonderful miracle He has worked.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. God is assuring Zion of the impossibility of His forgetting her.

God is so understanding of our poor comprehension of the Divine. How many times when we forget the most basic attributes of God and His relation to us, would He have reason to be frustrated or impatient? Instead, He takes the time to explain it again, to assure us multiple times when we should trust Him on a single promise.

He understands how often mortals encounter mistakes and how that affects our perception of His unfailing faithfulness. He understands how we rely on escape routes, backups, plan Bs, safety measures, and does not condemn us for it. We are creatures who invent deadbolts, spare tires, and two-

factor authentication, because we have to, and so here, in Isaiah 49:14-16, He comes to us on those terms.

First: can a woman forget her sucking child? The nature of sentient beings immediately shouts a definite Impossible! But I can hear a feeble, fearful mind reasoning, “Well, I knew a mother who did forget once…” God hears too, and without reproach, counters: “Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” What more can a creature wish for than the promise of His Creator? “Though the human parent might maybe, perhaps somehow chance to forget, yet, my sovereign, eternal, omniscient, all-loving memory will not forget you!” Listen to the Creator giving the creation His Word of honour–the unchanging Word, forever settled in the heavens.

Hebrews says that by two immutable things we might have a strong consolation. How many immutable things does it take to console us? How many things that are by their nature unchangeable must God use to assure those whose days are as grass? But oh, the loving patience of the divine Father! “O ye of little faith belongs” to all of us. We have each been like Thomas, longing to see the proof of God’s love for us graven in the nail-pierced hands.


From the moment we fully realize that we were rescued by a great gospel net out of a tumultuous sea of the souls of men and

were given an opportunity to make the life-saving choice to believe the Word of God and be saved, we, as believers, make a connection to God that becomes our lifeline.

At first, this bond seems thin and thread-like as in the days of Rahab in Jericho, but as we continue with God, our experience thickens to a threefold cord that is not quickly broken, like the rope that held the basket used by the disciples to lower Paul over a wall to safety. As this cord is put to the test of time in life, it becomes as strong as a cable which is attached to the anchor of a great ship.

All along the way, the skillful hand of God joins our precious lifeline with those of other true believers, knitting us together into a secure and supportive Gospel Safety Net, according to His great design. This network of faithful followers is powerful and useful in the experienced hands of the Master Gospel Fisherman for the saving and keeping of souls.

While the entire world seems to be unraveling and most of modern religion appears to be a tangled and knotted mass trying to mend and patch the deteriorating fabric of society with scraps of what-once-was, God is skillfully binding together true believers into His beautiful Gospel Safety Net. To more fully appreciate its value and beauty, let us examine more closely this curiously wrought net, made up of the unity of true believers.

We have a real enemy that would like to undermine and corrupt our unity to better build up his own kingdom. We must tenderly care for this precious net and guard it from corruption because, as a fisherman depends on his nets for his livelihood, so we depend on this Gospel Net for our spiritual life.

As we look more closely at the design of the net we ask, “What binds us together as Christians?” Paul talks about this bond a number of times in his epistles. He uses the phrase in Colossians 2:2, “being knit together in love” and states in Ephesians 4:16, “From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that

which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Also, in Colossians 2:19 Paul says, “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.”

These verses help us to see that our love for God and one another is what binds us together. These connections to God and fellow believers nourish us and bring an increase to the whole net or “body of connections.” This “body of connections” is held together by joints and bands that minister to each other. Therefore, as we


labor and live together, our love and trust feed the whole body and bring an increase to our safety net, making it stronger and more profitable.

As we step back to view the net as a whole, we see this net is flexible and the design is symmetrical. We can see from this perspective how each connection needs the next for balance and accountability. The design of this kind of net is meant for us to be able to work together, to lean and depend on one another.

Just as a fisherman that plans to earn a living at fishing will set aside his single, dangling hook and line and grab a net for catching multitudes of fish, so we must join forces with other believers, pooling our efforts and keeping each other accountable.

We need each other to balance our thoughts and intentions in order to bring in a profitable draught. Our livelihood depends on a solid connection to God and His people at our individual joining-points. We are admonished in Galatians 6:2 to “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” By following this design we are setting ourselves up for a pattern of success.

The opposite also holds true. The enemy of our souls is looking for weak links. He would love to separate us from our help. Doubts are leprous thoughts and will weaken and corrupt the fibers of our connection to the safety net. Our unity is fed by the link to the Head, but it can be starved by a spiritual disconnect or

neglect. Care must be taken to regularly clear the net of debris and to check for weak places in the fibers. Just as a net for fishing must be washed and mended to keep it in good condition, so we must attend to our relationships with our fellow Christians, keeping our connections clear and current.

In James 5:16, we are instructed, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” A wise fisherman would protect his investment and do what it takes to preserve it.

A good, tight link to the Gospel Safety Net can give you the security you need to take some risks for God spiritually. You feel a confidence to move out for God, trusting the brethren to stand

behind you, encouraging and correcting you if needed, while you are willing to do the same for them. The morning time saints were single-minded in this thought. They trusted each other enough to have all things in common. Their whole lives revolved around one another for the spreading of the gospel.

We need each other, brethren! Our unity is our lifeline and it is our only hope to keep us connected to God. One Christian needs another. Our gathering together is our strength and life.

Let this mind be also in you, that, as it says in 1 Corinthians 1:10, “ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind” and that we would be “with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27.

In a time when mass media is part of the very fiber of modern society, it would be disconcerting to consider its various venues being manipulated by certain individuals

or institutions. After all, media censorship is something we would typically assign to totalitarian countries such as China and Russia, with our sympathies being extended to their populaces for the suppression of free speech and for having their worldview narrowed by the bias of their leaders. The western world has long relished their freedom of speech and right to their own opinions–Charter or Bill of Rights our guarantee!

Well, folks, it is time to look again. The big boogeyman of CENSORSHIP is afoot in “the land of the free.” He lurks in Big Tech and, due to his corrupt nature, has a particular propensity to attack and destroy conservative values. This is becoming increasingly manifest.

Once upon a time, Google, Facebook, and Twitter forwarded their platforms as tools for social good. Former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo said, “We think of Twitter

as the global town hall.” “We are the free speech wing of the free speech party.” Google’s original motto was “Don’t be evil.”

Peter Hasson of the Washington Examiner stated: “Although Facebook, Google, and Twitter once touted themselves as bastions of democracy and free speech, they are now openly moving toward direct censorship and media manipulation–and

specifically targeting conservative ideas and personalities.” “We’ve gotten so accustomed to the role they play in our lives that we fail to notice that Big Tech is sifting through the available information and narrowing, and prioritizing our choices.” 1

Reader, there is cause for concern, for these are true words–the current coronavirus event being a clear example of Big Tech’s direct censorship. I have personally witnessed cases of YouTube (whose parent company is Google) removing videos of accredited doctors and other professionals

that question the pandemic, the WHO agenda, or the government lock-downs. Apparently, freedom of speech will not be granted to dissenters.

In other cases, when search on tech platforms is made that is contrary to their narrative, a message with government COVID-19 information shows up.

The CEO of YouTube openly admitted that, “Anything medically unsubstantiated, like ‘take vitamin C, take turmeric to cure COVID.’ Those are examples of things

that go against our policy. Anything that would go against World Health Organization recommendations would go against our policy. Remove is another important part.”2 This is blatant censorship, people! And really...is it important to remove a statement about vitamin C and turmeric?

Big Tech is also censoring some natural health and nutraceutical sites; some of this by soft censoring–manipulating search results. When one person asked Google why this is so, they replied, “It

isn’t censorship, it’s consumer protection.” So Google is now a health expert and will make our choices for us?

Lifesite News reported that Facebook censored a Trump campaign ad that decried Antifa and far-left groups for causing destruction and mayhem in American cities. The social media giant claimed that the post violated their policy against organized hate.3

Lifesite News also reported that YouTube censored Walt Heyer, an ex-transgender, for medical information on gender dysphoria. He stated, “This is a childhood development disorder.” YouTube considered these words hate speech. Many who regret becoming transgender reach out to Mr. Heyer for help.

This same news site tells of Amazon censoring a book on transgender harm to children called “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.” They deemed it to be “objectionable content.” We know how that goes. Promoting gender ideology is okay, questioning it is not.

More people are realizing that Big Tech is suppressing information on these and other lines. It would appear that they desire to shape public opinion to their left-leaning views.

Back in April, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg was asked about removing an events page for a political protest in Michigan. Zuckerberg stated, “Protests like these are no longer protected political speech, they are misinformation.”

When asked if it would be considered harmful if Facebook was used to plan a protest against social distancing, he said, “We do class that as harmful information

and we take that down.”4

Whistle-blower Zach Vorhies, a former senior software engineer at YouTube/Google, is sounding the alarm regarding their censorship. He released 950 documents, including their blacklists, as evidence to the department of justice anti-trust division. He alleges that Google is guilty of election meddling, among other things.5 Considering both their censoring and their power over the entire information landscape, this would not be that surprising.

During Ireland’s abortion referendum in 2018, Google apparently blacklisted the 8th Amendment of the Constitution of Ireland (which protects the right of the unborn).6 “Cure cancer” and “cancer cure” are also said to be on the list.

It is interesting to note that Vorhies also discloses that in 2018, Google did big algorithm updates which saw, among other things, many natural health sites deranked, seriously affecting traffic to them. In turn, medical sites connected with big pharma ranked at the top.

It seems tech giants have taken it upon themselves to police free speech. Kalev Leetaru, an American internet entrepreneur who writes about data and society, says the internet is evolving into a “corporate-controlled moderated medium.”

What is the agenda of these rich and powerful tech giants

with their global reach?

The censorship I have personally witnessed in recent months has been cause for alarm, and further research has exposed more. It raises the question: What is the agenda of these rich and powerful tech giants with their global reach? “Consumer protection?” “The good of public health?” God knows the driving force behind all things, of that we are sure, and, in a digital world, it would not be a strange thing for Satan to manipulate technology as one of his weapons to “deceive the nations” and suppress the truth. Evil is surely afoot!

Christians cannot be properly equipped for spiritual warfare in this end of time if they do not understand the undercurrents working to destroy righteous principles.

We are living in a world that is given over to corrupt lusts, and, in more recent years, the aggression against morality is rapidly accelerating…with the help of rich and powerful tech companies.

MEDIAMONOLITHSTHAT ARE SHAPING YOUR MIND

Books, magazines, news feeds, newspapers, music, advertisements, movies, radio, and television. Multitudes seek their information and entertainment from venues such as these, but not many may realize that much of what they see, hear, and read is being filtered down to them from but five monolithic media conglomerates.

In 1983, about 90 percent of American media was owned by fifty companies. That same 90 percent is now controlled by five! These five are deciding much of the information that is shared in the world,

especially since they have markets rapidly expanding internationally. That is quite a concentration of power to shape the minds and perspectives of the masses!

Many believe this “corporatizing” of media to be alarming. Adding to the concern is the fact that these conglomerates also share joint ventures with each other.

as a cartel. He considered this trend for monopolies to be dangerous, for it narrows the choices and removes the full spectrum of views and information from the people. The “big 5” wield enough influence to change politics and define social values.1

Thomas Jefferson declared that “The only security of all is in a free press.” But how much freedom of press can be expected from the current elite minority now in control?

Wikipedia states: “In nations described as authoritarian by most international

think-tanks and NGOs, media ownership is generally something very close to the complete state control over information in direct or indirect ways.” This concentration of media power is being referred to as a media oligopoly, with only a few companies representing the interests of a minority elite who control the public airwaves.2

More confusion in the COVID-19 protocol.

At the beginning of the coronavirus event, it was the educated opinion of health organizations that universal masking of the public was both unnecessary and ineffectual against virus transmission. This opinion, held by such bastions of public health as the CDC and WHO, was trumpeted by officials like the U.S. Surgeon General, politicians, and Dr. Anthony Fauci himself, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

That was the medical consensus…Until it wasn’t.

How are people supposed to adequately prepare themselves when the information from the “experts” is contradictory? How are they supposed to have confidence in the government’s concern for their safety? How are they not supposed

to suspect a hidden agenda?

Despite the obvious medical reasons why masking is not good, the CDC changed its opinion, and suddenly various studies supporting the efficacy of cloth masks in reducing virus transmission were cited to encourage the now fearful, media-ravaged public to wear them. Many officials, however, let the cat out of the bag in the early stages of this transition in policy by admitting that general masking basically served to produce a placebo effect–making people feel good about doing something to protect themselves. This eventually gave way to a rock-solid attitude that masking is now very effectual in reducing virus transmission, despite formerly being frowned upon based on the science.The issue of masks now divides the populace, engendering anger and strife between those who charge them that don’t comply with causing death and those who prize their individual freedom.

Real Christians are not cowards. We have a long legacy of facing the world head-on. We welcome the clash, and well does this world need the jarring awakening of the holy thunderclap of God’s Word. We are soldiers of the Christ who overturned tables and drove from the temple both the merchandise and merchandisers. From the look of things on the battlefield this issue, it is time to unsheathe our swords and charge.

“They Are Trying to Destroy Us”

Domestic genocide. This is the term some experts are using to describe a sweeping government-initiated forced birth control policy in the far west region of Xinjiang in China. The policy targets ethnic minorities like the Uyghurs (a largely Islamic people), while strengthening the population growth of the country’s own Han majority. An Associated Press (AP) investigation has found that the “the state regularly subjects minority women to pregnancy checks, and forces intrauterine devices, sterilization, and even abortion on hundreds of thousands…Even while the use of IUDs and sterilization has fallen nationwide, it is rising sharply in Xinjiang.”

Violation of the policy comes at a steep cost for Uyghurs, whose homes are raided to see if the parents have gone over the limit on the number of children (which is either two or three, depending on whether the family lives in an urban or rural area). Penalties include steep monetary fines and imprisonment in detention camps. The AP further reports that birth rates “plunged by more than 60% from 2015 to 2018” in the mostly Uyghur regions of Hotan and Kashgar.

One precious Uyghur mother interviewed by the AP summed up the plight of her people. “God bequeaths children on you,” she said. “To prevent people from having children is wrong. They are trying to destroy us as a people.”

Divide and Conquer

When the COVID-19 shut-down policies went in place, many states and provinces in various countries specifically restricted gathering for church services. And in those places where church meetings were not prohibited, most voluntarily shuttered their own doors over the fear and panic engendered by the media over the virus. Fervent Christians immediately cried foul, suspecting a hidden agenda to separate Christians from one another through fear. They were summarily scoffed at and mocked by proponents of the shut-downs.

But it appears their concerns were not unfounded. According to a recent survey by the American Enterprise Institute, an astonishing 64% of Americans who are professing to be Christians are uncomfortable with returning to in-person worship services.

Now that Christians have been physically separated and taught to suspicion one another with fear of contagion, it seems they are loathe to go back to abiding by the biblical mandate of corporate worship, even when shut-down orders are lifted by their local governments.

If the pandemic is proving anything, it is proving how very easy it is for worldly government to divide and conquer those professing Christianity.

Lutheran ConfusionWhen Jesus taught His disciples to

pray, He addressed the prayer to “Our Father which art in heaven.” When Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, He prayed, “Abba Father.” And just so, Christians all around the world for nearly two millennia have taken their daily petitions to their Heavenly Father.

Enter the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in this modern age. To whom do we find these good Lutherans praying? This tweet tells us:

“Mother God, you have fed us with the nourishment of your spiritual food. Raise us up into salvation and rid us of our bitterness, so that we may share the sweetness of your holy word with all the world. #Bread4theDay #Prayer—ELCA Lutherans (@ELCA) April 28, 2020”

And there you have it. The Lutherans are praying to their Heavenly Mother. If your mind immediately flashed to Roman Catholicism or Mormonism, you cannot be blamed.

The ELCA just made another splash in the religious headlines for publishing its handbook, Lutheran Introduction to Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, & Gender Expression. And, you guessed it, this is an LGBTQIA+ affirming document.

Need we any further witness that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

If ever there was a time to do battle in

exposing the works of darkness, it is now. The King of kings and Lord of lords sits astride His holy steed. The armies in heaven follow Him. Are you of that number?
