SAFETY BUILT INDesigned with safety and accessibility in mind, the GDM top drive cage consists of double doors to access electrical and hydraulic areas. A lower platform folds out to allow techni-cians to stand while performing maintenance. The GDM also comes equipped with elevator alarms and an anti-collision system.
Each Global Drilling Machine comes standard with GDS’s own automated control systems package. The onboard diagnostics and built-in predictive and preventative maintenance software teaches the rig crew to get the most out of your investment, and reduce total ownership costs. The GDM is a smart top drive that gives accurate data, contributes to extended reach slide drilling, and helps to maximize bit life.
