Share and distribute video from your smots™ sessions using smots™ Portal. Once video has been uploaded to the portal from smots™, it can be made available to staff, students and moderators via a web browser anywhere within campus, hospital or even beyond.

Fully integrated with smots™ Control Center, managing video from initial capture to smots™ Portal is seamless and fully automated. Students can even securely run their own sessions and view video later in their own private space in the smots™ Portal.

The most valuable part of video recording is sharing the video with students and providing feedback. smots™ Control Center has always offered instant debrief in the simulation area but smots™ Portal offers much more. Session videos can be automatically uploaded to the Portal so that students can view them at a later date as a study aid. Staff can even add comments, slides and documents to the video to create a rich teaching aid.

Secure – smots™ Portal does not need smots™ Control Center to be running. Students log in and out of sessions at the appropriate location using their individual network credentials. Later, students can review these sessions and, crucially, always see their OWN work, and ONLY their own work.

Every student has their own personal video channel as well as shared channels where shared video resources can be stored. All that is needed to access it is any web enabled device - including laptops, tablets or phones – and their existing university/hospital login credentials.

Staff can create their own teaching sessions and share them with a student, a class or everyone. Sessions could also mean exams. smots™ Portal is a secure way of storing practical exams and exam videos can be shared with external examiners, or just kept for auditing.
