◎ ITELab (Initial Teacher Education Lab) is co-ordinated by EUN and co-fundedunder the European Commission’s Erasmus+. The project runs from January 2017to December 2019. It is a Knowledge Alliance project between higher educationinstitutions and industry, with the participation of policymakers to exchangeinformation and shape recommendations.

◎ ITELab focuses on the development of digital pedagogical skills of futureteachers, with three strands: monitoring and research; co-design and piloting ofnew content; knowledge exchange through an online ITE Forum.

◎ ITELab sits under the umbrella of European Schoolnet’s Future Classroom Labinitiative, to create a sustainable ITE Forum for on-going exchange betweenpolicy-makers, universities, industry in this priority area of initial teacher education.

The Networked Teacher – teaching in the 21st century◎ The Networked Teacher - teaching in the C21st , registration and hosted on EUN academy.

◎ Introduction for student teachers by MOOC lead, Bart Verswijvel

◎ Free, online short course for student teachers. Self-directed.

◎ Starts 25th February 2019 (registration: from 21st Jan)

◎ Designed to help the student teacher become a ‘networked teacher’, developing

pedagogical digital competence, learning about collaborative and active approaches to

teaching and learning, and connecting with fellow student teachers from across Europe to

share ideas and build a future professional learning network.
