Check-Outs
By law, we are only able to release students to authorized adults, as listed by the registering parent/guardian in the database. To update the data-base, the “registering parent/guardian” must present, in person, a written note and ID to school staff in the front office. Everyone must show an ID when checking out their student.
Change In Student
Transportation
Please remember, due to student safety, changes in student transportation must be arranged in advance and in writing. Students will be sent home by their regular mode of transportation if a written note is not submitted to the front office.

Both of the schools FLL robotics teams, the STEMM Stingers, and STEMM Swarm, competed in their NWF regional qualifying competition on 28 January. The teams displayed outstanding performances in all areas of the competition, to include robot design, core values, project, and robot game. Out of the 20 teams that competed, our STEMM teams earned 2 of only 7 spots available to advance to the regional championship. In addition to the regional bid, the STEMM Stingers brought home the trophy for top Project! The regional championship will be held on Saturday, 18 February on the NWFSC campus. The competitions are open to the public, so come on out and cheer on our incredibly talented students!!

Information about High School Credit Courses and seat time requirement. One high school credit is defined in statute as a minimum of 135 hours of instruction in a designated course of study, which contains student performance standards. Students are required to be in attendance for at least 135 hours (90%) of the total 150 hours of instruction. This allows students to miss NO MORE than 15 hours or 9 block class periods for a high school course for the year. Good attendance is important!
Your feedback matters! Log into the Parent Portal starting now through March 30th, 2017 to take the School Climate Survey! Log in with your student’s # and PIN: The survey is then located on the
lower left side of the student’s grades display.
Electronic Devices from our Student/Parent Handbook In accordance with School Board policy 4-39 students may be in
possession of wireless communication devices while on school property. The student must insure the device not be visible and must be turned off while on campus, until 1:45 p.m. Text messaging is not permitted. Violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action taken by the administration. Any student bringing a wireless communication device to school will do so at his/her own risk. The School Board nor the school will be responsible for the loss, damage or theft of said property. Students are also required to keep electronic equipment such as IPOD’s and handheld games at home as these are not allowed. Such items will be confiscated and held by the administration for parents to pick up. The administration accepts NO Responsibility for items not picked up within five days. Likewise, the school assumes NO Responsibility for the loss or theft of such items.
