WELCOME AND INVITATION

Ladies and Gentlemen,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of The First International Scientific Conference on Ecological and Environmental Engineering we would like to invite you to Kraków. Kraków is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, its history is very rich and there are plenty of monuments included on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. Thanks to all of these Kraków is one of the most appreciated tourist destinations in Europe and all over the world. Kraków is also an academic city with 22 academic institutions with students from all over the world. The idea of organizing this conference arose on well established cooperation of six Polish Universities (from Lublin, Kraków, Gdańsk, Poznań, Wrocław and Warszawa) as well as Polytechnic Institute of Beja, Portugal. We hope that our conference will become an important event which fulfils the gap and creates the platform for discussion about the problems concerning water and sewage management, renewable energy sources, climate changes and environmental protection and development. We are sure, there is a need for the discussion among scientists, engineers, environmentalists, managers, consultants and officials of different sectors. We believe that the cooperation will be established in order to realise our common research and implementation projects carried by interdisciplinary teams from variety research units and businesses. Finally, our key issue is the exchange of thoughts and experiences during the conference towards improvement of the state of the natural environment all over the world. We hope that the presentation of the most recent scientific accomplishments in the area of ecological and environmental engineering will be transferred into practise and it should contribute not only to the improvement of people´s well being, but it shall also let us elaborate the effective methods of environmental resources management of sustainable development.

PAPER SELECTION AND PUBLICATIONFull papers submitted for the conference will be selected, reviewed and considered by the Scientific Committee and Editors-in-Chief to be published in journals given below:

The organizing committee makes efforts to obtain funding for publishing articles. Information on publication costs will be provided in the 2nd announcement.
