The Farm is an American country music trio consisting of Nick Hoffman (vocals, fiddle), Damien Horne (vocals, keyboard, guitar) and Krista Marie (vocals, guitar). Signed to All In Records in association with Elektra Records and New Revolution, the trio has released the single "Home Sweet Home", which has charted on Hot Country Songs. Horne is a former member of John Rich's song writing group MuzikMafia, while Marie is a former solo artist for Broken Bow Records and Hoffman plays fiddle in Kenny Chesney's road band. The three met during a song writing session which included former Western Flyer member Danny Myrick, who also became the group's producer.

This first shot is of the fiddle player, he is the main focus of the shot, with the background out of focus, this combined with the framing (him not being in the direct centre of the screen) makes the shot look artistic.He is wearing a leather jacket, this makes him seem rustic, which fits with the genre of the song.

This is around 2 frames of the piece. I picked this out as it has the grass in focus and not the man, its also a low shot. This makes the shot look artistic. The grass being in focus can link to the genre of country. This is reinforced by being set in a farm.The high yellow colour from the left is being used as a build up to a transition.

This is an effect used to show two shots at once. Used to get more on the screen in the short amount of time they have. Both shots are of the artists, giving them both screen time. The colours used are vet vibrant and bright, the give the idea of a summers day.

Here is another artistic shot. Designed to make the video as pleasing on the eye as possible, it also slightly sexualises the lady in the video. The colours again are being used to liven up the transitions.

Allot of stuff on the table. Most of it being photos, this can portray looking back at memories and happy times, this links to the songs title and feel, “home sweet home” and the song is very upbeat and happy.

This shot adds to the one of the table. It shows all the band members looking through photos. Suggesting that they are looking back at their happy memories. The consists of warm lighting and focus on the band members while leaving the background blurred. The are on what seems like the porch of a farm, house, linking to their band name and genre.

This an effect splitting 4 shots into one, it consists of very American and patriotic items and views. This is the American dream, an idea that everyone wants a big house in the country and to be independent. This idea is still very alive in some states of America.

This is a scanned in photo of one of the band members family and friends. This is reinforcing the earlier shots of looking through memories and also the songs title. It is slightly grainy and washed out to give the effect of being an old photo.

This shows him skimming a rock in the river, with him in focus and the background not the main subject. Skimming a rock is quiet a childish thing to do, again reinforcing his idea to want to go back to the time when he was living at home as a child without much worry.

This shot shows the woman writing down the song lyrics. Its supposed to imply that she is just writing the song we’re hearing. It also helps the audience to visualise the lyrics. The use of yellow paper instead of white complements the art style and lighting style of the video. White would be too harsh.
