CAROL O Come, All Ye Faithful ADESTE FIDELES
O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem!
Come and behold Him, born the King of angels! O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!
Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation, O sing, all ye bright hosts of heav’n above!
Glory to God, all glory in the highest! O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!
Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning, Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv’n!
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing! O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!
PASTORAL PRAYER Tom Cabaniss
CAROL MEDLEY Away in a Manger, O Little Town of Bethlehem & Silent Night
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head.
The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.
O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie!
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by. Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting Light;
the hope and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.
Silent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright ‘round yon virgin mother and child!
Holy infant, so tender and mild, sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.

CHORAL PRAISE Fear Not! Mary McDonald
Fear not! Fear not! We bring you good tidings of great joy. Fear not! Fear not! We bring you good news. Fear not!
Fear not! Fear not! We bring you good tidings of great joy. Fear not! Fear not! We have only come to say:
“Christ the Lord is born today, and He’s come to earth to stay.” Fear not! By His cradle, you may stand. This Baby has come for fallen man.
In a manger, He would lie. Listen to the Baby’s cry. Fear not! Fear not! We bring you good tidings of great joy.
Fear not! Fear not! Peace comes to earth today. You will find Him on the hay. A star will lead the way. Fear not!
How great our joy! Joy, joy, joy! This Gift of God we’ll cherish well.
Peace within our hearts shall dwell. How great our joy! Joy, joy, joy!
Praise we the Lord in heav’n on high. Praise we the Lord in heav’n on high.
Fear not! Fear not! We bring you good tidings of great joy. Fear not! Fear not! To you is born this day.
The star will lead the way. He has come to earth to stay. Fear not! Fear not!
MESSAGE Tom Cabaniss
CAROL Good Christian Men, Rejoice IN DULCI JUBILO
Good Christian men, rejoice With heart and soul and voice! Give ye heed to what we say: Jesus Christ is born today.
Man and beast before Him bow, And He is in the manger now: Christ is born today, Christ is born today!
Good Christian men, rejoice With heart and soul and voice! Now ye hear of endless bliss: Jesus Christ was born for this.
He has opened heaven’s door, And man is blest forevermore. Christ was born for this, Christ was born for this!
Good Christian men, rejoice, With heart and soul and voice! Now ye need not fear the grave: Jesus Christ was born to save;
Calls you one and calls you all, To gain His everlasting hall. Christ was born to save, Christ was born to save!

Dear Church Family,
I want to thank you for the opportunity of serving with you at Kannapolis First Baptist over the past five and a half years as your part-time Minister of Outreach and Discipleship. It has been an honor to work alongside you in discipling our congregation and reaching out to this community to share God’s love. As many of you know, I have also been assisting our son, William, in his landscaping busi-ness. We are fortunate that his company continues to grow and is in need of more support. As a result, I have submitted my resignation effective December 31 with the church so that I can assist William more in his business. Again, thank you for the privilege of serving with you in ministry.
Sincerely,
Eddie Haigler
