The external environment is often times uncertain, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. The VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) nature of today’s business environment requires flexibility and foresight so that organizations can avoid the disruptions from both technologies and their competitors. Thus, to maintain sustainable competitive advantage, it is essential that organizations embrace novel leadership and organizational development approaches.

Strategic foresight is a strategic thinking process which enables us to create alternative futures and possibilities to prepare for potential threats while capitalize on hidden opportunities. The process allows us to create a future map of emerging landscape to test out both our current and prospective strategies and bring about new business models and breakthrough innovations which can lead to transformative change in organizations.
