We make our Reiloy bimetal barrels on
centrifugal induction casting plants with
integrated process control, also developed
in-house. The result: 100 % distortion-free
bimetal barrel blanks. This allows us
to do without work-intensive operations
like straightening or stress-relief annealing
machining in the subsequent production
process.

Due to our wide spectrum (cylinder ø 14 mm up
to 400 mm, screws ø 300 mm up to 9 m in length)
and application-related geometries, you always

If you want to protect your screws and barrels against abrasion, adhesion and corrosion,
you need the right alloys, and a manufacturer who has all production steps in his own hands.
We produce our own hard alloys using a gas atomizer at our Troisdorf location. The necessary
recipes are developed in the Reiloy materials laboratories, where the latest Reiloy alloy systems
for our highly wear-resistant screws and barrels are also tested. In our research and development
we cooperate closely with machine builders, raw material producers, as well as universities
and colleges.
