Character:

- the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality

- a set of qualities that are shared by many people in a group, country, etc.

- a set of qualities that make a place or thing different from other places or things

“A Character of Love” – thinking it not robbery to make yourself equal with God, and then projecting that same Character of Love upon humanity. ~ja~

ISAIAH 53:1 ¶ Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Report – news, tidings

Arm – often used in the Bible to symbolize spiritual strength or power.

- There is no stronger power or force in the world than Divine Love.

Page 4: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- When we believe the report, then the arm of the Lord can be revealed.

- The Arm of the Lord is His (it’s our) strength. Strength comes (or it’s revealed) when we believe the report. The report is the Gospel of good news that’s been handed to us by the ministry to bring us glad tidings… to bring us strength. Although the report has been handed out, it doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone sees the arm of the Lord… it still requires the eyes of faith to see it. You must believe in order to see. You must believe the report first in order to see the Arm of the Lord revealed. - Strength comes by believing! ~ja~

As we read through these next few verses of scriptures and quotes, our attention will be taken to the screen play in which Jesus comes on the scene to act out His part of the greatest love story ever told.

We’ll also recognize that we are very much a part of what goes on in this play, as Christ puts on His costume to act out His part of a redeemer. As we read through the script, pay close attention to the description and different parts being acted out.

One other thing to keep in mind is this: there is one form of Life that everything is driven by, and that’s the Holy Spirit. All things exist because the Holy Spirit said it could!

Page 6: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

The Holy Spirit is the One who’s directing the different parts of the play, with different characters of both redeemer and transgressor acting out their parts. The Holy Spirit is directing the play according to the script in order that the attributes of both light and darkness display themselves.

~Donald Parnell~ There’s only one Spirit in the world and it is God Himself. There are many attributes, but one life.

This is a pretty big screen play and we’re all very much involved in it.

ISAIAH 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

- We don’t desire Him for beauty, but we desire Him for His character. His display of Character is a Character of Love that’s beyond anything imaginable. That’s what makes the arm of the LORD so STRONG!! When He stretches out his arm He stretches it out in the Character of Love to meet the needs of the people. Power apart from character is Satanic. We don’t desire Him for beauty, but we desire Him for His character.

Highlights from the Message: “The Philippine Visitation”Ministered on 1/4/2015 –by Pastor Donald Parnell

• I made this trip in the Philippines to put on display “My Character” with “My Message” • I love humanity and without that character you will never know my message.

- Many claim the Third Testament, but lack the character to go with it… it’s a shame that we must bear.- I’m not worried about those who are right or wrong about me; I still want to display my character with my message.

Page 9: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- You cannot beat people with the message as to what you think are right or wrong… sometimes, we don’t need to think. Forget about good/evil, and enjoy what God has placed in your life.

- Each one of us is “ONLY BEGOTTEN SONS” of God. Find out what’s in your book and enjoy it.

- Our character is about LOVE, JOY, and PEACE.

Page 10: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men;  - The hero is despised and rejected by the villain... but, it’s all a part of the play. Someone had to play the part of the villain, in order for Christ to be despised and rejected so that the plan of redemption could be carried out.   a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him;  - Any time that a brother or a sister passes by its Jesus passing by.  he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Page 11: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Question: Who was Christ smitten, stricken, and afflicted by?

Answer: The hero was smitten, stricken, and afflicted of God by us playing the part of the transgressor. Not only was the Holy Spirit playing the part of a hero, but He was also acting out the part of a villain, displaying attributes of both light and darkness. All parts were needed to ensure that the plan of redemption was fulfilled as planned. It was a part of God’s Great Drama to do so!

Page 12: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- Nothing happens unless the Holy Spirit is completely involved and moving through it.

He said: I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Page 13: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

- The Holy Spirit en-morphed Himself inside of man at the natural birth and put on the robe of a transgressor (old coat) in order to create the circumstances to process the scene to the crucifixion. God was very much involved with the crucifixion of His only begotten Son.

- For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son.

Page 14: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- The Holy Spirit provided Himself a Lamb when He gave His only begotten Son to be a Lamb… but He needed more than just a Lamb. He needed the screen play to include the part of the transgressor… He needed the old coat. He needed the attribute of the villain to act out the part of the crucifier in order to fulfill His plan of redemption. It was an act of Love that caused the redemption story to take place.

Page 15: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.)

We did it! And He didn’t even open His mouth…

- He accepted the blame and took the punishment for something that He didn’t even do… We loaded Him down with all sin! He knew no sin, but came here as innocent to take on the corruption of us all.

Page 16: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

Keep this in mind:

God’s Great Drama is directed and driven by Him! He’s the composer and the director!

Page 17: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: - Jesus said: “I have power to lay my life down, and I have power to raise it back up. How did it do it? He did it by the power of Love. That was His strength. He took the oppression… He took the affliction brought upon Him and he embraced it. He had the power of strength to do it! It was His part to act out and He did it by the Character of Love. The scripture said that He could have prayed to the Father to give him more than twelve legions of angels to set Him free… But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Page 18: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- It was His Character of Love for humanity that caused Him to do what He did, that the scripture might be fulfilled. His Love for humanity gave Him strength to lay down His life for all. He is not a respect of person!

he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He Could Have Called Ten Thousand Angels by Ray Overholt

Verse 1:They bound the hands of Jesus in the garden where He prayed; They led Him thro' the streets in shame. They spat upon the Savior so pure and free from sin; They said, "Crucify Him; He's to blame."

Chorus:He could have called ten thousand angelsTo destroy the world and set Him free.He could have called ten thousand angels,But He died alone, for you and me.

Verse 2:Upon His precious head they placed a crown of thorns; They laughed and said, "Behold the King!"They struck Him and they cursed Himand mocked His holy nameAll alone He suffered everything.

Chorus:He could have called ten thousand angelsTo destroy the world and set Him free.He could have called ten thousand angels,But He died alone, for you and me.

From the post:"And it's not as if He sucked it up and turned Himself over to the authorities just once, and then it was out of His hands. His submission to that torture was continual. At any moment, He could have stopped it with a word. Imagine the scourge opening up your back, knowing another blow was coming, knowing you could stop it. Imagine having the will to take it. '...his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any manand his form marred beyond human likeness...'(Isaiah 52:14b)" Try as I might, I just don't have the words. No greater love...

Page 22: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

~Donald Parnell~ A person cannot display any greater love than to lay down his or her life for the Body of Christ. That doesn’t necessarily mean to spill your blood or die for someone. We need to think on that scripture.

When he or she continues to serve in the ministry of Christ’s body giving up theirs wants, desires, ambitions and reputations there is no greater love. That person has laid down their life for you. We are starting to understand what love for one another means when this happens to us.

- Changing your life, laying things down for others is a touchy ministry.

Page 23: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- You’re the arm of the Lord in the screen play for today… you have a touchy ministry, that’s reaching out and touching others. - This is not a game… it’s a touchy ministry, touching the lives of others, to help pull them up. It’s the Character of Love that makes it a touchy ministry.

ISAIAH 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

ISAIAH 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.

ISAIAH 53:10 ¶ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Page 25: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied:

- The Lord worked through the attribute of darkness in order to see the travail of his soul and it satisfied Him in doing so.

by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Page 26: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

ISAIAH 53:12 Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

~DKP~ Justification, Sanctification, Baptized with the Holy Ghost – all of these has happened for me by Jesus Christ!

Highlights: “The Testaments Pt 5 – It’s a New Song”Ministered on 2/8/2015 – by Pastor Donald Parnell

• “The Consummation is Here – I will fight no more forever”

- We don’t have to go out and fight people any more. We’re not spilling blood no more. We’re in a day moving by the wisdom of God to fight no more, but to make peace.

- God has shown us that we should love one-another… when we talk, talk by love. Show people what you have by love. Present right, and receive right.

Page 28: The Evidence Part 7 “The Character of Love”. Character: - the way someone thinks, feels, and behaves: someone's personality - a set of qualities that

- Darkness doesn’t go away, but blends in with the picture to help bring out the beauty.

- The river deep in the woods is us… we get strength for our journey from one-another.

- If we live, we live with one-another… if we love, we love one-another. Recognize who your creator is and love one-another.

- It’s the greatest Love Story ever told when you’re willing to tell it to everybody. The greatest thing in the world is to be able to lay down your life for others.

PERSEVERANT_ VICTORIA.BC SUNDAY_ 62-0729 E-13 And so, I was telling Billy, coming over... He said, "Daddy, you look so tired."I said, "But Billy, I must put every effort."He said, "Why don't you go over there and just don't speak to the people. And just say, 'I will pray for the sick,' and run the prayer line as you promised them and don't speak."I said, "Billy..."He said, "There's not many people there, daddy; a little bitty meeting.“ I said, "I would put the same effort there if there was one hundred thousand." You see? I said, "Because that I'm duty bound by the love of God that constrains me to His church." You see?

PERSEVERANT_ VICTORIA.BC SUNDAY_ 62-0729 E-14 And I've often thought what I would do with two drops of the literal Blood of Jesus Christ in a glass. What--how I'd hold it. I certainly want--wouldn't want to spill it. I'd hold it to my chest, and up to my heart, and say, "Lord God, how I appreciate this Blood." But in His sight I have a greater this afternoon. I've got the purchase of His Blood before me. He loved you better than He loved His own life. Then how should I treat you? Honest, sincerely. And sin I must call out, no matter how bad it hurts you or I. I must do everything that I can to be honest and upright, and a servant to Christ.

- “A Great Commission lays before US” – To whom US is given US is required. (If it’s been given to you to be US, then US is required of YOU!)

- It’s my desire… it’s my Character of Love to do everything that I can to be honest, to be upright, and to be a servant of Christ to all.
