One hundred and twelve students from The Evergreen State College are currently serving

internships in Lacey. They are among 112 Evergreeners earning academic credit for on-

the-job learning experiences in more than 50 agencies in Thurston County. An additional

68 Evergreen students are serving Spring Quarter internships throughout the state and the

nation.

Assigned to Lacey are: Judith Blackard, an art education intern at Mountain View

Elementary School; William Klem, Jr., assistant division manager and salesman for Sears;

Beverly Wambach, an intern at Blume Realty; and Kevin Weigler, a programmer analyst for

Allied Data.

Olympia area agencies sponsoring a total of 104 interns include federal, state and
