With the instantly recognizable music of Tchaikovsky virtually a signature of classical ballet and the wonderfully dark story of good set against evil, Swan Lake is one of the most famous and loved of all works in the repertory. It is impossible to imagine the ballet world without it.

The production by Evgeny Amosov for The Russian National Ballet Theatre is an especially appealing and popular one.

After the success of last years event, The Events Centre is look-ing forward to delivering an interactive family fun day to allow parents to engage with their children (aged 4 to 10) one on one in the discovery & exploration of the creative, performing & visual arts. The festival will include creative, performing and visual arts workshops and activities with a sausage sizzle and goody bag for each child. Headlining acts include Scooby Doo and Peppa Pig, as well as performances from local artists Jessie Ryan-Allen, Zoe Louisa and more!

DINING AT THE EVENTS CENTREThe Events Centre offers pre-show dining before most evening performances. A buffet style meal, including a main meal, dessert and tea/coffee is available for only $28.00 per person.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS The Events Centre Scholarship for the Performing Arts is awarded on an annual basis, and is designed to foster the development of young local talent by contributing to the cost of studying in a full-time, accredited, tertiary level course in the Performing Arts field.

Sunshine Coast residents who are 25 or younger and have been accepted to a 2nd year and above course are encouraged to apply. For full details please visit www.theeventscentre.com.au.

As a volunteer you can become a front of house usher, assist with marketing, help with food and beverage services or lend a hand as a meet and greet member. Volunteers can earn points that may be redeemed for tickets and other exclusive volunteer incentives. HEARING AID SYSTEMThe Events Centre now has individual Hearing Assistance FM Units. One style of belt–pack (24 available), utilises a personal neck loop to be worn in conjunction with hearing aids. The wearer will ‘hear’ VIA the T SWITCH, activated on the hearing aid. There are also 24 headsets available for people who don’t wear hearing aids, but may require a boost to their hearing to get the most out of any particular show.

A request for one of these packs can be noted when bookings are made, guaranteeing availability and ensuring a quality theatre or concert experience is offered to Hearing Impaired patrons.

VENUE INFORMATIONBOX OFFICE HOURS Our Box Office is open Monday - Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm. The Box Office is open one hour prior to performances.

CONCESSIONS Most performances offer concessions to students and concession card holders. If concession ID is not produced at the Box Office at booking or on collection of tickets, patrons will incur full charges.

LOST TICKETS Please contact the Box Office regarding lost tickets.

REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY Once a booking has been made we are only able to offer refunds or exchanges in the instance that the performance is cancelled.

BOOKING FEES Unless otherwise noted, phone bookings that are charged to a credit card will incur a $6 dial and charge fee.

SEATING Most shows have allocated seating. However if a performance is a general admission performance without seat allocation, patrons will need to locate their own seat. Those who arrive early may be in a position to take the best seat. Please ensure you are aware of seating arrangements at the time of booking.

PERFORMANCE DATES AND TIMES There is a wide range of events and entertainment throughout 2012 at The Events Centre, Caloundra. Performance times differ for each event and should be checked at the time of booking.

DINING & BAR TIMES Pre-show dining and bars open two hours prior to most performances. Please check if pre-show dining is available at the time of booking.

LATECOMERS Latecomers may not be admitted into the theatre until there is a suitable break in the performance.

MOBILE PHONES Mobile phones must be turned off before entering the theatre. If you are on call please place your mobile phone on silent.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS Wheelchair access is available for all performances. Please advise at the time of booking.

PARKING Free off and on street parking is available. Undercover parking is accessible from behind The Events Centre in Nutley Street.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT Sunbus timetables are available by phoning 13 12 30 or visiting www.sunbus.com.au

TAXI A loading zone directly in front of The Events Centre allows for easy drop off and pick up of patrons.

GROUP & COACH BOOKINGS Group rates are available for 10+ people. Please enquire with the Box Office for special group rates. Coach parking is available with easy access for wheelchairs.
