The Essential Oils that truly cut that ‘Flab’ and make you ‘Fit’! (Part 2) The broken myth behind the low-fat diet‼ This is the season of Happiness, Health and Joy - Christmas! That we stay well and healthy is how we celebrate Life! Living a life full of and suffering from diseases is like a living hell. However, it is us who choose what life we live, rather we want to live. The daily lifestyle is what has brought the changes in our way of living. What we eat and how we eat has contributed much to our health woes these days. I mentioned in the previous article that how our increased intake of carbohydrates can affect our health despite adopting the low-fat diet. A little on the BAD and GOOD fats was also mentioned. The question here is that why a low-fat diet regime has not paid off as expected? Briefly, I present before you some facts about the fats and cholesterol – both BADDIES and GOODIES, which I read from the different sources on the internet. The bad fats or Trans Fatty Acids (TFAs), more commonly referred to as Trans fats, are formed in the edible vegetable oils when they are partially hydrogenated. For the sake of monetary profits the manufacturers of vegetable oils, these oils are partially hydrogenated which makes these vegetable oils more stable and hence do not go rancid. Fully hydrogenating a vegetable oil creates a fat that acts like a saturated fat (Yes, I am serious). No prizes for guessing it right that partially hydrogenated oils have become a mainstay in the food industry today, for frying, baked goods, and processed snack foods and margarines. Partially hydrogenated oil is not the only source of trans-fats in our diets. Trans-fats are also naturally found in beef fat and dairy fat, in small amounts.

The Essential Oils that truly cut that ‘Flab’ and make you ‘Fit’! (Part 2)

The broken myth behind the low-fat diet‼

This is the season of Happiness, Health and Joy -

Christmas! That we stay well and healthy is how

we celebrate Life! Living a life full of and suffering

from diseases is like a living hell. However, it is us

who choose what life we live, rather we want to

live. The daily lifestyle is what has brought the

changes in our way of living. What we eat and how

we eat has contributed much to our health woes

these days. I mentioned in the previous article that

how our increased intake of carbohydrates can

affect our health despite adopting the low-fat diet. A little on the BAD and GOOD fats was also

mentioned.

The question here is that why a low-fat diet regime has not paid off as expected? Briefly, I

present before you some facts about the fats and cholesterol – both BADDIES and GOODIES,

which I read from the different sources on the internet. The bad fats or Trans Fatty Acids

(TFAs), more commonly referred to as Trans fats, are formed in the edible vegetable oils when

they are partially hydrogenated. For the sake of monetary profits the manufacturers of vegetable

oils, these oils are partially hydrogenated which makes these vegetable oils more stable and

hence do not go rancid. Fully hydrogenating a vegetable oil creates a fat that acts like a

saturated fat (Yes, I am serious). No prizes for guessing it right that partially hydrogenated oils

have become a mainstay in the food industry today, for frying, baked goods, and processed

snack foods and margarines. Partially hydrogenated oil is not the only source of trans-fats in our

diets. Trans-fats are also naturally found in beef fat and dairy fat, in small amounts.

What about cholesterol in food? The body uses cholesterol as the initial source to make

Estrogen, Testosterone, vitamin D, and other vital compounds. Most people believe that the mix

of fats in the diet influences cholesterol in the bloodstream far more than cholesterol in food

does. Huh? Trans-fats are worse for cholesterol levels than saturated fats because they raise

bad cholesterol levels (LDLs) and lower good cholesterol levels (HDLs). They also shoot up

inflammatory activities of the immune system which are associated with deadly heart disease,

stroke, diabetes, cancers and other chronic conditions. What more, they assist in resisting the

formation of insulin in the pancreas. As such, even small amounts of trans-fat in the diet can be

harmful to our health. I am sure you would like to read this - For every additional Two percent

(2%) calories coming from trans-fat daily, the risk of our body falling prey to coronary heart

disease increases by a whopping Twenty Three percent (23%)!

There is enough of talking on bad health above. Let us now look forward to some natural

remedies for the above mentioned baddies. As per the deal made yesterday, here are another

two of my favorite Pure Essential Oils that make for our health and wellness. These have really

helped me containing my weight problems and keeping those BADDIES at bay.

1. Lemon Essential Oil – balances body metabolism more effectively

Similar to its cousin Grapefruit essential oil, the 100% pure and natural Lemon essential

oil constitutes mainly of δ-Limonene besides a lot of minerals and vitamins, especially

vitamin C.

Lemon essential oil is just great to eliminate such intestinal parasites that often cause

weight gain. It helps us in losing those excess pounds and hence cut that flab. It not only

regulates and balances our metabolism which helps us get rid of various digestive

disorders it contributes in increasing energy levels of our body as well. It also helps the

body to carry lesser toxins which get stored in the fat cells for no apparent good reason.

Similar to Peppermint essential oil, inhaling essential oil Lemon is equally good a natural

and effective way to control appetite and eventually loose and control weight. This has

been observed in the findings of ‘’The Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Institute

of Chicago” researches.

2. Bergamot Essential Oil – an effective anti-depressant that stops ‘stress eating’

This wonderful oil is extracted from Italian citrus

fruits of Bergamot trees. It is perfect or shall we say

‘made by GOD’ for those stressed eaters.

Bergamot essential oil is full of natural sedatives

that assist combating with issues and problems of

stress related weight gain and stress triggered eating. When combined with Lavender

essential oil it becomes a ‘lethal weapon’ against stress. As for enormous amounts of

the Poly-Phenols (also found in Green tea) this essential oil becomes an effective

measure of weight control and cutting that flab. These Poly-Phenols halt the production

of blood fat, increase metabolism and prevent the absorption of bad cholesterol in the

body. Bergamot fruit is known to inhibit an enzyme that is more active and promotes the

decomposition of sugar and fats when sugar levels are high in the body.

So, we see that how these oils can help us live a healthier life and celebrate life too. Adopting

these 100% pure and natural essential oils in your dietary regime is no big deal, especially when

it comes to our health and wellness given the above and previously mentioned facts. If you have

missed out reading the first part of this, here's the link for you! Part 1 I make yet another

promise to come back with another two of my favorite essential oils that help us with our dietary

regimes. I wish all my readers all the health and wellness to enjoy one of Best Gift of Almighty –

LIFE (at its fullest)! Stay well, stay healthy, live long!

GOD Bless!
